Is there any difference between nickel cases and brass cases other than aesthetics? The price per 500 is only 7 or 8 bucks. Do the nickel cases give more loadings than brass? Will the brass wear out sooner if loaded to +p pressures vs nickel cases? How about standard saami pressure? Thanks for your help.

Can someone point me to a fake pistol that looks real just for intimidation?

If you've watched nature shows on migrating geese, you know that they fly in a V formation, and trade off in the front of the V because it is more efficient for the entire flock. Can anyone tell me why one leg of the V is longer than the other? 10 pts to the first correct answer.

I was recently outside with my cat when a bald eagle swooped out of the sky and attacked it! Lucky for Panzer(the cat) he only suffered a broken tail and leg. Is it illegal for me to kill an eagle if it attacks my pets?

I have a Stevens Model 15A .22 caliber single-shot bolt action rifle. How would I find out how much it's worth? I know it's probably not worth a whole lot, because there were about a trillion of them made.

I am looking for a set of gun books to start a collection. I already have reloading books and would just like to have books with information such as blue book values, company history and products, history of iconic guns (Remington 870 and Winchester Model 70 type firearms), etc...

Any info is welcomed and price estimates would be great.

Thanks in advance and Happy Holidays!

I'm an 18 year old girl and I absolutely love going hunting! It is my favorite thing! what do guys think about this? I'm quite a tomboy and love anything outdoors. I was wondering if maybe this is why a lot of guys shy away from me.

Owning a python has always been my dream, but I have never had the financial freedom to just plop down a grand. If Colt is not planning on bring back the python, I might just have to find one now instead of waiting for it to get to 2 grand, right?

I am 19 and I live in Pennsylvania. I was wondering if I need a permit to get a shotgun(not a pistol). Also, where can I buy these guns and do I have to register them? Can I just go into the store and pick it up? I havnt been able to find too many good gun websites.

I was at the gun shop and saw this video for a "bean bag" round that was fired out of a shotgun. It knocks a person flat. I think that would be a good idea. A single shot shotgun only costs a hundred dollars, and you could flatten a disruptive person with it. Also, if you used a single barrel break open shotgun to fire the non lethal round, (perhaps you could have a bright orange stock) you could easily tell the difference between it, and the pump action shotgun that has lethal buckshot.

The cops WOULD STILL HAVE THEIR PISTOLS AND SHOTGUNS WITH REGULAR BUCKSHOT, but for about $200 a car, you could have another tool to knock down people without killing them. Also, because this weapon is like getting hit with a sledgehammer, some people who have been hit with it before, might choose to comply rather than get knocked flat. I think expanding nonlethal weapons that actually work is a good thing, not a bad thing. And having this would not preclude using real guns where necessary.

What is the difference in the accuracy when hitting the target or the groups; is it measured in inches, or is it more like millimeters? Is there a difference in medium rangers such as 100 yards and longer ranges such as 300 and 500 yards, for something like a .308 caliber?

I never hand the chance of firing both a bolt action and semi of the same caliber enough to compare the two.

I'm sure its when the powder ignites. But I've heard its also from when the bullet breaks the sound barrier, ---if so, how much louder is this sound from the powder ignition? Where is the majority of the noise from.

The reason I'm asking is because I'm thinking about building an outdoor shooting range with a shooting shed to dampen or perhaps eliminate the noise so it doesn't bother the neighbors.
