Has anyone used the Guide Series 1.35 HP meat grinder. They have one on sale at Gander Mtn. for 79 and I want a little user feed back before buying.. All comments will be a huge help. Thanks

The Gander Mountain "Guide" Grinder is factory "re-furbished" thats why it's so cheap. Grinders are one of those things that you are going to get exactly what you pay for. Buy cheap, get cheap. If I were you and you want a quality Grinder that will last check out LEM Products at lemproducts.com. They carry a full line of Grinders,Meat Processing Equipment, Seasonings, Jerky and Venison Sausage Making Spices and supplies. One stop shopping.....

My Nephew bought one of the "Guide" series Grinders from Gander, and the motor seized up and literally burned up half way thru the first Deer being processed. He had a real problem getting his money back......I would suggest you avoid the Guide Grinder if at all possible...The price is too good to be true and it just isn't worth it.......

Going to do away with the hubby huh? Never used the meat grinder but I have found that Gander Mtn. is a store that has a knowledgeable staff that will be glad to help you and they stand behind their products.-----No I don't work there.
