Anyone ever have this brand? I was thinking of getting the Fletch High Ride Belt Holster for a 1911. I havent found a comfortable one yet.

Thanks for the unanimous vote. I just ordered one for my father, I'll let him be the test subject although they do look really nice. With some searching I found a cheap price on E-Pay.

Galco is one of the few holster maker using premium leather. They are top notch, but expensive. You get what you pay for. The trend nowadays is towards synthetic material holsters, so it is not likely you will find them in many stores. If you order from nthe web, you are in a pickle, because you can't try them before you buy, and returns are a hassle, if you can return them at all.

Ditto on the quality and fit. These are spendy, but worth every dime especially for concealed carry. Weapons draw very easily from Galco's. If you want another cheaper product, try Bianchi they are good too. I own about 15 holsters for revolvers and autos and have used both of these brands for years.

I have 3 different Galco Shoulder holsters, expensive but well made. Not as comfy as others I've used.

The one I have got more comfortable with wear. Gun leather needs time to break in, kinda like boots.

i own several of their holsters. very well built, just my opinion of them, but money well spent on quality
