Yeah, someone publicly and vocally telling me I have no right to do something which the government says I do, is no different than the KKK telling someone they have no right to vote, when the government says they do. Both are wrong.

Anti-hunting is like anti-anything that is promoted by highly vocal minorities who are long on opinion and emotion; and short on facts, scientific research, and wisdom.

Preservation vs. Conservation. Preservation is obvious and anti-hunters would prefer that game animals reproduced unchecked, overgraze their habitat, and die of starvation and disease. Conservation is the wise use of natural resources, particularly those that can be replaced or replace themselves.

anti hunters seem to have this focus on the welfare of the animal.......misguided though.......if we stopped all hunting, how would we control herd size, some options ...starvation because of larger herds .......adding more wolves(would that work in rural/suburban fringes? not for little children's safety sake) and going to the woods to hand out birth control.... these options are not humane or viable......you will see an increase in herd sizes, leading to more interactions on the interstate(not pretty)

remember how they talked about how the buffalo(bison) was almost wiped off the map because of no hunting laws.......our hunting laws help to increase or maintain herd size and some species are on the rebound(wild turkey's are everywhere and moose and black bear are spreading out in the northeast )

If you are against hunting then you should not wear leather shoes, belts or jackets. And you must be a vegetarian.

Actually you should lay down nude in the woods and give yourself back to nature. The clothes you wear came from Cotton plants that were planted in destroyed habitat, or from gas or oil if synthetic. The vegetables you eat could have fed many a wild animal and insect. The "synthetic" leather and rubber in your non-leather shoes came from oil or gas. The house you live in came from defenseless trees that housed squirrels, not to mention the habitat destroyed to clear the building site. The car or bike you drive is made from steel and rubber. The steel was made using iron and coal mined from the earth and electricity to form it, the rubber and plastic from oil or gas.

So if you are against hunting you should be truly selfless and give your naked body back to mother earth.

Personally I will keep my place at the top of the food chain and continue to hunt, eat what I take, and help restore wildlife habitat so that my children can enjoy what I enjoy.

Some people choose to Hunt, and Some people choose not too.* NO Hunter, Sportsman, Shooter or Conservationists never ever needs to justify, defend or apologize for participating in their beloved Sport of Hunting.* You do your thing, and we will continue to do our thing.* That is all that needs to be said about Hunting.* It is a tradition dating back hundreds of years.*

Anti hunters are led by their emotions, hunters are led by their intellect.

If a hunter kills for food, I only wish they would learn how to cure the hide and use the bone, hoofs, and antlers for something, as the Indians did. But the folks that go out to kill just for fun, it is so wrong, as in drive-by shooting, or spot lighting. In case you don't know, spot-lighting is hunting with big lights to blind deer at night, makes them easy prey.

All of the people that are against it, I know well, that they need to look around at their own enviorment. Chem said alot, read his answer. I agree Chem.....

I can say, give it time, soon most animals will be distinct anyway, either from starving, run over by a vehicle and so on. I feel so sorry for the coyotes here, they're staving to the point of killing any domestic animals they can find and one coyote grabbed a child. These creatures have done nothing to man, but the animals are losing everything, from the looks of it, man doesn't care what he does to others or the future of his unborn family.

What do I see in the future? Man will have to pay dearly for being selfish...........
