Most websites you buy blanks guns from say that you can't. But I believe they are just saying that so you don't actually change the parts and make it a real gun. But all thats plugged is the barel right? You could just change the barel on the gun and you have a real gun after that. Right? I'm sure someone knows.

when to the store to buy some .22 ammo for my 10/22 ruger
and the guy was kinda of a dick , I asked for some .22 ammo to see what they had he kept telling what type i didint understand onther then myabe the brand?

then he said for a pistol or rifle '
i thought all .22 rounds could be fired from anny .22 rifle or pistol....

growing up we had both a rifle and pistol semi and a revolver
we used the same .22 ammo on all 3 weapons with out a problem..

do they know make them only for each one?
i didnt buy anny i thought that was odd .

I wanted to make sure what i need and if its so to this day i use the same ammo on all 3 have i been doing this the wrong way?

I'm going out for a California hog hunting trip in a few weeks and I have a friend who wants to come with me. Unfortunately I only have one big bore rifle. But, I do have a 20 gauge shotgun and I just bought some Federal Vital-Shok #2 Buck.

I think it will be enough, am I correct? If it is enough, within what range can one reasonably expect to take down a piggy? 50 yards?

I also have some Winchester Rifled Slugs, which I'm sure would work like a charm, but my shotgun does not have proper sights for slugs yet.

I have no experience hunting big game with a shotgun, so clue me in, so I can clue him in.

I put the stand together following the directions, but the directions do not really show how to actually raise it up on the tree other than saying I need 2-3 people.

I would really like to hear from someone who has put ip a ladder stand successfully.

Thanks

Please answer from experience only. The reason I ask is because I recently purchased a stainless encore since it would be so resistant. After allowing it to sit in the closet for a few months, it rusted and pitted on the barrel and frame. I thought stainless could not rust originally; however after researching it, the low grade stainless steels can (as used in guns). Is low grade stainless or blued finish more resistant to rust? Please Encore users only.

Im thinking of purchasing a H&K USP .45 for my first handgun. I like the way it shoots and its design and H&K's are reliable but the gun is a little heavy. Any opinions from owners of this gun or those who have fired it would be a great help

Thanks

So, I'm thinking about getting one to stick in my sock(ankle holster) for the times that a belt holster and a larger weapon aren't appropriate.

So what can you tell me about the model 1? Is it reliable? Is it accurate? Can it take 3" .410 shells?

I understand this is a last ditch weapon.

List which would be best for customizing, sniping/target, hunting, assault, ect and which has the best handling and least kick. And who's the best manufactorers for each. Please back up your opinions with facts or experiences. Thanks.

I'm looking for a shotgun for my husband, preferably Remington or Mossberg. I want something in a 12 gauge with interchangeable chokes. He already has a Mossberg 500, but we cannot get the choke out. He would use the new one primarily for waterfowl (ducks, geese), but would like to be able to change the choke for turkey. I'm not looking to spend more than about $400. One that comes in a camo would be nice, but not necessary. Suggestions???
