like why don't they still use the spencer rifle in the military? It's a good weapon, i really don't see the peoblem! just cause somethings 150 years old doesn't mean they shouldn't still use it! I think it should become the standard infantrymans rifle, wht do you think?

My grandpa gave me this gun to deer hunt with. I promised him I would NEVER sell the rifle, and I wont. What I do want to know is how much it is worth so I can insure it. How can I find out? Also a good site for ammo.

Why is it that you hear about 9mm rounds and .45 rounds, for instance? How come it isn't standardized?

My brothers have a friend they want to invite deer hunting but think that since he spent time in prison, he can't go hunting. He is not on parole. I know he can't purchase a firearm, but do you know if he can get a license and USE one of their rifles? Can they GIVE him a rifle or is that forbidden because of his conviction? They want to know soon because deer season (rifle, not bow) ends in about 2 weeks. Thanks for the help!

In an earlier question I asked how I could make my Remington Model 700 in 30-06 more accurate. I got many great answers and I appreciate it. I was wondering if someone could direct me somewhere I could learn more about glass bedding and free floating. They seem to be the most economic ways of achieving greater accuracy. I would like to do it myself so is there a do-it-yourself kit? Thanks!

iwas on the 6 wheeler when i looked left i saw nothing, when i looked rite i saw 2 deer 10 feet beside me, the front half of a doe and a back half of the other, i wait a sec to see if the other was a buck, i herd a noise and looked behind me to see nothing when i looked back it was two doe, thay droped thare heads and started to jog away around and behind me, i got off the 6 wheeler and ran to the feild where thay joged too, and of course i couldnt catch them at the tree line, thay were gone. so i started to walk towards the 6 wheeler when i got on it i shook my head and looked towards whare thay were standing and to my saprise thare was a fawn standing thare all alone, im telling you i could of walked up to this thing and put it in a head lock, it was just looking around confused, so i did nothing, drove away went 5 hundred yards away and waited for the two doe. 2 hours passed and i saw nothing, now i live in manitba neer sandilands forrest never shot a deer yat and am varry picky,

I'd like to wrap the immobile parts of the gun in order to keep it protected from the elements. When I hunt I do alot of crawling, climbing, and walking through thickets and would like to keep the gun in good condition. Essentially my idea is similar to what they did to the M1's in WWII. Can I do this with my shotgun? And what is the best material to use?

At what blood alcohol limit can you be charged, in CANADA, for hunting while intoxicated. I don't do it, I was just wondering, so please don't give me a three page lecture about the dangers.
