At what blood alcohol limit can you be charged, in CANADA, for hunting while intoxicated. I don't do it, I was just wondering, so please don't give me a three page lecture about the dangers.

I thought I ask for you people not to lecture me about it. I don't know anyone nor have I done this. I am just going through a course to become a Conservation Officer, and some of my friends and I started discussing this and no one knew what the limit actually was. I would like to figure this out ahead of time so I know it and don't have to research it myself.

Its zero for sure. You wouldn't think so driving down the dirt road always seeing empty case boxes and cans. Doesn't make me feel to safe for sure. Drink after you get home. Is it really that necessary?

Why can not they decrease the cut back? because of the fact there is not any could. regulations are made for adult adult males, not adult adult males for regulations. in case you're making the cut back too low, you change each physique right into a offender, even whilst what they did wasn't hurting all people. Why can not human beings be allowed to be to blame for themselves and have a touch of relaxing as long as they at the instant are not hurting all people? as nicely, BALs that are under .10 do not markedly impair reaction time, coordination or judgement. Over ninety% of the individuals arrested for inebriated using have BAL's nicely over .10 besides, so the previous legal limits could nevertheless catch many of the inebriated human beings.

Being a Range Safety Officer I would not tolerate any alcohol anywhere near a firearm.
This question just goes to show that there are really stupid people out there that give responsible hunters a bad name, and because someone obviously got caught (maybe not the writer of the question but someone the writer knows) I would think twice about hunting with that individual.
The range I run has posted all over it no smoking and no drinking.....We don't even allow alcohol in the club house. We have lost out on some members because of this rule but I wouldn't want them around anyway.

I don't know for sure but I would imagine zero tolerance.
I have always believed that when the alcohol comes out, the guns get put away. Even if they were an acceptable range, I would think it would be juvenile to argue that a low blood alcohol content would be ok.
