Many are quite young, thus my main question.
Some are adults thus my second possible reason.
As some pointed out; possible mind control by propaganda from PETA and others. Personal I think Disney played a huge role in their deranged view of nature and hunters. Many Disney movies depict the hunter as a psycho killer of animals. And predators hugging little bunnies.

These factors may have had a controlling factor on their minds.
As one anti-hunter stated in another answer; “Why not let the butcher kill the animals instead of you murdering them”
So by their warped reasoning its ok for the butcher to kill animals; (that’s not murdering an animal) but not hunters as that would be murder.
This proves their lack of solid reasoning and logic, thus we have to wonder if they have a healthy brain.
Thanks for your answers I look forward to more.

I'll tell you what causes these types of people, lies and people stupid enough to believe them.

I saw a Peta video entitled "Bambi slaughter". The whole basis of the video is that it shows fawns being slaughtered. I watched the video and no surprise... what Peta calls whitetail Bambi fawns are actually adult axis deer.

So either Peta flat out lied, or they are too stupid to know the difference between a whitetail fawn and a adult axis. Its sad that so many people will believe any garbage they see.

If you watch Peta's videos of animal abuse you will find that the videos are low quality and the farming equipment is from the 70's era. They take OLD FOOTAGE and try to apply it to modern farms.

I also saw this on Peta's website. "2,500 gallons of water = 1 pound of beef". Come on, how stupid do you have to be to believe that! Do the math! That would be 2.5 million gallons of water for a single heifer lol A herd would drain one of the great lakes by that false figure.

Stupid people = stupid people. No worries, 98% of the population isnt stupid

Hunting is a tradition which dates back hundreds of years.* Hunting is for Hunters.* If you are a Hunter you are a Shooter.* If you are a Hunter you are a target shooter.* If you are a Hunter you probably shot a BB gun or pellet gun at some point.* If you are a Hunter you may also be a Veteran with military and weapons experience.* We would not have a problem with PETA, trolls or vegetarians or Animal Rights Activists if we Hunters did not respond to their questions, or see any need to answer them.* We could just simply ignore them.* Why do some of us feel we have to explain, defend, apologize or justify our participation in the beloved Sport of Hunting? Just ignoring them in my view is the best approach.* Do not take their baiting, let them rant and rave all they want, but just ignore them.* NO Hunter, Sportsman, Shooter or Conservationists never ever has to justify, defend, explain or apologize to Anyone, Anywhere, or at Anytime for participating in the beloved Sport of Hunting.*

Anti Hunters are always a favorite group of mine, hehehe. When you ask where all the meat in the stores comes from, they say that is different, but when Coyotes attack their kids, or pets they want a rifle to get even? A Liberal is a Republican who has not been robbed, or walked in the woods alone at night, then they realize, a firearm for protection, is a great security blanket, as well as a deterrent.
Thanks for helping me laugh today.

That study means that the part of your brain that says "don't risk jumping on a moving car in the parking lot, you can get badly hurt" doesn't completely mature until your 25. That is why you alway see high school and college kids doing the dumbest stuff and getting badly hurt because of it. I learned about this exact study last year before my class did an 8 day canoe trip, we were trying to cut down on injury possibilities in the middle of nowhere.

PS. I don't like them anti's that come to this board and let loose. Stay in your hemp clothing and tofu recipe sections.

Your just going to give them a stage asking questions like that, people will believe what they want to believe. All hunters realize that hunting is more than going out & killing bambi w/a 50 cal machine gun.
Just getting out & enjoying the outdoors, Spending time w/the boys in hunting camp, filling your tag, knowing all alone, that the animal you have just killed is all 100% natural & is going to feed you & your family well.

Good hunting all.

It could be a prime source of gun-control myths, stemming from mental immaturity as well as emotional remains of seeing "Bambi".

I'm still waiting to hear an arguement supporting gun control that's not based on cherry-picked information and emotional garbage, most of which isn't true, either.

Since it is un-natural for people not to eat meat products, fish, eggs or milk it certain could explain weird behavior in vegetarians, vegans(?) whatever that is!), vegtables, etc.

Best.
