I saw a doe that had a broken leg last year, probably a car. I saw what appeared to be the same doe last night with two yearlings in toe.
I do have an antlerless tag.

I have recently taken up shooting for sport and found I really enjoyed shooting both the Glock 17 and S&W 619. I want to begin comparison shopping local gun shops for both firearms but don't have any frame of reference re: price aside from MSRP. What is a realistic, yet fair price to look for for each of these handguns? Thanks!

I am a male at 5'0 and weigh just around 90lbs. I was thinking about getting a .243 for deer hunting because of the lower recoil. But I also wanted something with more take down power so I was going to opt for the 30-06. The reason I don't want a 30-06 is because of the recoil. Anyways if I were going to get a 30-06 it would be a Ruger m77 Mkii Sporter version. If I got the .243 it would be a Ruger M77 Compact rifle.

I recnetly bought a NEF handy-rifle for my niece to start hunting with. I sighted it in, but found that if I was on at 50 yds, I was grouping 6" high at 100yds. Zeroing at 100yds showed 4" low at 50 yds...My shot groups were decent. I checked the ballistics charts for the ammunition I was using, and there shouldn't have been nearly that much difference. Anyone have any ideas as to what the problem was?

I normally shoot jacketed hollow points because they seem to foul the barrel less than lead bullets, but are they safe to use with steel? The directions state to use soft nose bullets, but that seems a bit ambiguous. It seems that hollow points would not richochet even though they are copper plated.

What do the experts think? Thanks.

This question was asked in Home and Garden, but honestly I don't think they take the threat that squirrels provide as seriously as hunters.

Please provide your input on squirrel attacks and lets band together to finally rid the world of this nuisance (yet tasty!) animal once and for all!!!!!

do "vegans" really believe they are being more humane by killing innocent baby plants than animals that go around killing and eating everyday??The plants are put here to clean the air and fertilize the ground and have done nothing to harm us;unlike rabbitts and deer that attack plants and try to kill people in cars, and they have already lived their lives before going into my grill (car or bbq) but these poor innocent carrotts, peas (yes especially "baby carrotts" and "baby peas") and tomatoes and grapes have never had the opportunity to grow and enjoy life and bear offspring before you hypocrites come along and stuff them into your pompous mouths acting like you are so much better than those of us that are working with the vegetaition to stop the methane pollution from destroying our ozone!!! ever try to think for yourselves rather than getting brainwashed by rich people that are exploiting you for billions ??? Stop killing the plants !!!

A friend in the states asked me - if a D-22 won't always fire the second barrel she's been told to take 1/32nd of an inch off the top long sides of the ratchet spring to turn it into roughly a wooden spatula shape instead of a rectangle. Anyone done this> Any advice, pictures or schematics that I could send her would be very welcome. Thanks.
