People understand hunting. If people dont hunt.. there will be an overpopulation of that animal not beinh hunted. And yeh hunting must be limited for the safety of the animal. But if there is no hunting.. that would be even worst for the environment... but about the coyotes.. yeh u can hunt them at night, just make sure u have some night goggles and a good predator call. A .22 will work but try using a shotgun. Winchester just came out with this Coyote load that is specifically meant for coyotes. Good Luck!

You don't hunt Coyote's at night "LEGALLY"..Especially in Pennsylvania unless you live in the boonies and you own a large section of private property. You would have a lot of explaining to do if you were caught by the Game Warden or DNR Police for hunting ANYTHING at night (except Raccoons), in Pennsylvania..That's for Jack Lighters and Illegal Poachers. You have been mis-informed, and it's nothing new. It's always been this way

I know in Illinois, you can only hunt coyotes during certain months, its still year long season, but night hunting is not. It starts in Mid-November and ends in like Feb. Check with the DNR or if you know any other coyote hunters around, ask them.

JD's mostly right, but the real reason it's outlawed is because they didn't want anyone in a raccoon suit to be mistaken for a coyote.

No, I'm kidding. JD's got it on the mark.

Leave them alone, they were living in PA. long before you. How do you intend to slaughter them, live and let live.
