Lookingto possiblely get a 6inch barrel for my .45acp tactical XD. Is it possible to get one at a decent price? That is at least of good quality.

Isn't that kind of redundant? You buy something to be tactical and then you stick a longer barrel on it. Why don't you just go to a rifle.
You might ask Springfield if their warranty is still in effect if you add a after market item as important as a barrel on it.
And if the extra weight of the new barrel will mess up the timing and functioning.

They are available but depending on what you call a decent price, cost might be an issue. Most decent 6" Barrels that can be fitted into your 45ACP Tactical XD, are going to cost between $170-$200 on average.I would suggest a Clark Custom 6" Match Grade Barrel from Brownells.com . Anything of lesser quality or cheaper, I wouldn't consider if I were you. When you take having it fitted by a Gunsmith along with the cost, a cheaper barrel isn't worth the time or expense to install.

I don't know if Bar-Sto makes this item, but if it does, these are excellent match grade barrels.
