The rifle is chambered in 7mag and is left handed. It is in great condition with a scope, Burris scope, don't know the specs. There is no rust on the weapon and maybe a couple of scratches on the stock. Normal wear. It is a wood stock with a light barrel. If anyone can help that would be great. Thanks.

I'm looking at buying an AK-47 before the evil ban around the corner thats probably going to come up. I've always wanted one but now I'm more serious into buying one with the upcoming election thats going to clinton up the gunlaws again. So now my question is whats the difference? LoL there's 100 different AK's on the market from USA, romanian, hungarian and more. Whats a good make? These WASR-10's or russian seem to be cheaper but really is there a difference besides a bayonet lug and furniture coloring and stocks? I'm looking to put some little add ons like a surefire light and maybe an EOtech site. I know more about the AR's than the AK's.

My father gave me a Remington 740, that was given to him years ago. It is in nice condition and has a scope, I was wondering about what it would be worth. Thanks for the help.

can you just hold the trigger and it will shoot until the clip is empty?
or
do you have to constantly keep clicking the trigger in order for it to shoot?

I ask because I inherited one, it's an antique, and I want to take the necessary precautions when setting up a shooting range. I know they aren't very powerful.

Hello all, i am going to be buying a 9mm handgun. This will be my 2nd handgun. I have been learning on a Ruger .22 Mk 1 target. Now i am ready for a new gun.

I do not know which gun to get their are so many and just when i find one that i like i hear many people telling me choose another. here are the ones i like.

Most Importantly it has to be accurate, and be under $400 or around there.

Ruger P89
Ruger P95
Taurus PT92
Taurus 24/7

I do not know which to choose.

If you have other recommendations let me know just keep them along the lines of the guns i have chosen.....i am very confused so many opinions and guns to choose from.... and accuracy is first....

thank you....

the purpose is for target shooting...plus bedroom

Last weekend I was at a range shooting my .243 Model 70 Winchester. The range was only 100 yards, and last year I had zeroed my rifle, with my reloads, at 200 yards. Same reloads I've used for years - 85 gr Speer BTSP pushed by 40.8 grn of 4350. Maybe a little high or low, but no left right varying at all. So I'm good with that. Then the factory ammo - Remington 80 grn PSP all shoots high and right, averaging 5 inches out. Its cheaper ammo sure, but at 100 yards I didn't think I would find that much difference. If factory ammo is supposed to be better than it used to be, what gives? I didn't change anything while shooting. Any ideas? Barrel heat, daytime temp, wind and humidity - all pretty much the same for the two hours I was there.

So I'm asking this LEGITIMATE question to all you hunters who know all about guns and stuff.......

IS this a big list of guns?
or,
What IS it?

- I just can't say for certain myself, I need some of you experts to examine it and tell poor ignorant me if these are guns or broomsticks.

Now remember I'm asking an honest question here.
I'm NOT trying to give these knowlegable firearms folks here a link that might be a valuable resource for improving their answering capibility. One that they might want to bookmark....
I am ONLY giving it to them so they can tell me,

IS this a big list of GUN PHOTOS?
Danged if I know. You'll have to prove it to me.:)

What's the best 22LR round for self defense? I've heard CCI Stingers are good but they're also hollowpoint. Even with a hyper velocity round, does hollowpoint provide enough penetration?

I see certain ones advertised from Beretta for example, usually the very expensive ones and they are described as being over-and-under shotguns.

What exactly does this refer to? Thank you.

I know the .44 mag is a very common round and can be found pretty much everywhere. But what about the .45 Colt? Also, is the a big difference in the velocity of each round? And which Ruger would you suggest? I'm leaning towards the Ruger Super Blackhawk .44 mag with the 10.5" barrel; either that one or the .45 colt with the 7.5" barrel?

Moreover, since I live in PDX,OR but travel to W Washington, is it legal to hunt dogs? What about feral dogs?

I have seen people refer to an AK-47 or sumthing that looks just like it, if it is in fact a different weapon, an SKS. But they told me it's shorter that an AK but still holds 7.62 mm
