I am wondering what it costs in terms of set up to start reloading and to find out how complex it is?

I primarily shoot 12 gauge, 9mm, and .40 caliber. I shoot some .357 sig and .30-30.

How much would it cost to get started with reloading 12 gauge, 9mm, and .40? Also, it is easier to reload shotgun shells or casings which are straight (not necked). What type of set up is needed? Should I buy a kit or piecemeal?

How much do you have to shoot and reload for this to be economical and worth the capital investment of buying a reloader and required supplies?

I know absolutely nothing abour reloading, so thoughts are appreciated.

Does a .357mag pistol really put off a lot of muzzle flash? I saw this picture on the net of a guy firing a .357 and I don't know if it was a doctored picture or what, but there was a flame ball that looked about 2 feet in diameter around the muzzle. what gives?

I am looking to start loading a 357 Herrett, and would like to know what dies I will need to make the brass, please include details on the process of forming.

Also Ive heard you can use 30-30 brass or 375 winchester, Ive heard that the 375 brass loads to higher pressures, is this true, what is the velocity gained?

They acted like they were the only ones on the lake when we pulled up in their area to fish. Is this normal or do they do this all over the place? We laughed at them and they took off out farther over the horizon. Has anyone else seen this behaviour from them?
