offer your friend 100 dollars, if its in good working condition. Ive bought and sold three of these, 2 were from norinco and I payed 150 for one and 75 for the other but that one had to have the trigger group replaced and I knew this going into the deal.
My last one is a Russian, think I paid 225 for it. The difference in quality is easy to see and feel, as it has very few machining marks, and the action has a nice slick feeling rather than the gritty feel of the norico. Keep in mind I purchased all of these 8 plus years ago, prices may have gone up a little.

You can pick one up at a gun show for $150 - $200 depending on the grade. Just be prepared to use a LOT of elbow grease to remove the cosmoline......

sks,para can easly hit two grand. no clip. with s/n removed,much more. What ya going to do with it.
If your out for the chicom 47, it's crap 600 will do or less
