Pricing a gun is much like pricing a car; year, make, model, mileage, paint condition, rust, smoked in, am/fm cd.. etc etc. With a gun they check the condition of the bluing, the grips, if it's chromed- how much of the chrome is left. If the gun was holstered a lot, there may be wear on the muzzle that can depreciate the price. The best way to get the perfect answer is to take it to a reputable gun dealer. They can tell you how desirable that model is and a percentage of quality based on up to date price guide books, much like the blue books used in automotive sales. A good gun dealer will tell you what the gun is worth and what he is willing to pay you for it. The price he will pay you should always be 15 to 20 percent less at least. If he tells you it's worth 200 bucks and offers you 200 for it... stick your tounge out at him and leave. Hope this helps!

Pawn shops will you 30 to 50 cents on the dollar. If you really want to sell it, contact local gun shops that take guns on consignment. They will take a percentage of approximately 10 to 15%, but you will get top dollar for it. They will also be glad to tell you a price. You can also get the Blue Book of Gun Values if you want to look up an approx. price. The used price if in very good shape should be $300 to $450. I would not sell it by running an advertisement since you may get bad people trying to buy or steal it from you.

Are you buying or selling this gun?
If you are selling, I'd try to sell to a private party before I sold to a pawn shop.
If you are buying, I'd look at the prices of other similar guns in the paper and online. That will tell you if you have a good price.

I'd be willing to buy it and so would alot of other people at a fair price. You might consider www.gunbroker.com or www.gunsamerica.com to see what older models sell for.
Check with a local gun shop to see what they would pay for it before dealing with a pawn shop. They will rip you off.
Email me if you live in NC.

Not nearly what it would be worth anywhere else, like GunBroker.com, as all pawnbrokers are notorious liars and legalized THIEVES!
NEVER deal with a pawnbroker, as they will do their level best to steal whatever you are being forced to part with, no matter WHAT it is! ! !
The only bigger thief than a pawnbroker is the operator of these "check-into-cash" rip-off joints! ! !
