I'm an island enthusiast and I live in a small suburban city with a lot of land, wetland, and streams. Currently, I am a bit strapped for cash right now, meaning I don't have much money to spend, on a good type and/or brand of personal raft or canoe; especially, considering that I am inbetween jobs right now, just bought a new laptop for school purposes, and paying off university bills. Can you please recommend me something good and inexpensive that I can reach island-to-island on (in small strems and/or rivers)? Serious answers ONLY! Thank you very much!

I will be using it on arkansas whitetail and would like a bullet with a relatively flat flight that will do the job quickly. Accuracy is a must. Any suggestions?

I have an UglyStick rod and Shakespeare spinning reel. I am new to Bass fishing but I have had some good luck so far. The problem I am having is that I am constantly casting around lillies and grass/weeds in the lake I fish at because that is where I usually catch the Bass.
I would like to know what type of fishing line would allow me to both get my lightweight lures far and also be tough enough that I would be able to rip it out of the lilly pads if it gets caught. I have already lost a few lures so I am thinking my line/setup might not be appropriate.

The funny thing is I was having problems casting far with the line that came with the reel so I went to the store and bought 6lb Berkley Trilene XL. It improved my casting distance by double but not good when I get caught up in the lilly pads and such.

Thanks in advance.

The bolt wont stay back on the last shot, the shotgun is alot like a model 1100, if that helps. I dont know whats up? I took it apart to see, but nothing looks missing or broken. The gun shoots fine, all three shots as fast as you can pull the trigger, but the bolt wont stay open on the last shot, you have to load it through the magizine tube and then pull the charging handle back to load it. Like I said it looks like it has the same guts as an 1100 but dont quote me on it. Any info would be appriciated. thanks

Ok well this weekend I went on my very fist backpacking trip! It was great! Went to a little lake called Greendrop Lake in chilliwack. The lake was pretty and we had it all to ourselves.
The hike was murder on the way back though. We had to cross what seemed like a million boulder fields, lost the path a few times, I tell ya the car never looked so good.
This weekend we were going to go do the lightening lakes and the three brother trails up in Manning Park, but as there is a fire breaching the park I don't think we are going to go there.
The second place we are thinking of is Squamish. (sea to ski highway.) Have any of you been up that way to go campping or hiking? Any place you could recomend?? Let me know.
Hopefully where ever we go, we don't run into any bears. (Just picked up bear spray.)
Luv Ter

I have been trapping for 9 years. I have only caught 6 skunks in conibears but they are always alive when I find them. I have caught over 100 coon - every one dead. Even the 30-32 pounders!

I was wondering which new tackle I should buy. I have 1 rappala, a few jigs, and lots of rubber worms. I was just wondering which lures and what colors would be good for here in Massachusetts. I know there are bass and pickerel around here and a pond is stocked with trout near my house. Also I was wondering if there were northern pike or walleyes around here thanks.
