should rough leather boots be oiled with neatsfoot oil?

i just bought a pair of boots that are made with a rough leather. with my other boots that are a smooth leather i wipe neatsfoot oil on them once in awhile. should i do this with the rough leather as well?

Absolutely! All leather needs care. Neatsfoot is a pretty good oil.

Yeah it helps to lossen them up.
