I haven't yet climb one but I intend to before I die. They say your never too old so there is hope for me yet.

Which one do you recommend starting with. I live in North Aberdeenshire, so just two hours away from Aviemore or Inverness.

EDIT Gary J Looks like you enjoy banning things. You do have a point about the rescuers though. But the mountain rescue service is trying to implement new guidelines so the inexperienced walker climber is more informed on how to avoid dangerous situations. The problem is that the weather closes in so quickly on any mountain but this is especially true for the Highlands of Scotland. One minute the you can see for miles and the next minute you can be surrounded by HAAR!

I haven't done a munro but i've done the cobbler and goat fell and they were big enough for me x

Climbing should be banned,you go out there get stuck and expect someone else to risk there lives to come and save you.
