Outdoor Recreation - September 2006

Last night I was talking to a friend and he has a friend who owns a hunting lodge and a fenced in area with very large deer in it . One of these deer will score 300B&C and if you bring a check for 30K you can kill this deer.This really does not bother me,people can spend their money however they want,but it does not seem much like hunting to me .Maybe I can go to Bass Pro Shops and catch a world record bass out of their fish tank. What do you think about this?

I know it sunds mad, but there is a style that is entered from the bottom then you tie yourself inside. The top end is only open enough for your head which pokes through into the hood.
The idea is that it is better insulation. I cant find the website that sells them though :(
It looks real cosy anyway, so long as you dont have to get out in a hurry!

it was some years ago and entitled something like "the day the duck hunters died." it had to do with a freak storm that traveled across the midwest and up the eastern seaboard killing many duck hunters along the way. i know this is tough, just hoping somebody remembers.

I am a woman who loves to fish!!! I fish 2 to 3 times a week. I can't seem to get enough of it. Although I am very feminine I am able to do everything that a man can do when it comes to fishing. I have a very large family and every year they go to Arkansas for a week long fishing trip. I think it sounds like a great amount of fun. Everytime I mention women going they laugh at me. I'm really curious... What goes on during these trips and why do they not want women along? Even the ones that don't need to be taken care of or babied? Please answer honestly. Thanks!

If I run, my boots are wet or just in general, I have to frequently tie my laces. I buy cheap hiking boots usually for around $30. When I try to have strong nodes then I break the laces.

Well, i just bought a crossman 66 powermaster, and its the black and silver one (plastic and steel). I dont like the fact that its so light, which makes for a less accurate shot, but i only really need a good pellet gun so i can practice at home on targets 10 yards away. I joined the ROTC rifle team so were going to be going to competitions and stuff starting in a few weeks, i need to get ready. I looked at all the air rifles at wal mart and got this one. i also just checked online at academy and stuff. I just basically need a REALLY accurate pellet gun minimum 550 fps, kind of heavy, not a multi pump cuz i hate pumping like 8 times, and something under $60. a CO2 rifle would be like my dream practice rifle. but i know theyr'e minimum $100. Can anyone help me locate a good single pump 550fps minimum, not too light, really accurate air rifle under $60, thats sold at a store in houston. and if the one i already have is a good choice then just say that.
