hi there, maybe i can help,a bow prees would be nice to take preasure of your string to install the peep, but is not nessesary. if you have a darning needle,or kniting needle handyshove it through your string making sure you have the same number of cords on both sides of the needle, now slide it up and down so you open a 2 inch slot, i am asuming you have the oval peep with the post to attach the sight tube to, with the post to the top of your bow insert it in to the slot, now you have to set the peep for your eye with the bow drawn, draw the bow and adjust the peep up or down the string, make sure you are at your usual ancher point, with the peep where you want itmeasure from the upper wheel to the center of the peep, write this number down somwhere and you can use it later to check for creep in your peep, now mark the string an inch and a quarter above the center of the peep, now you need a 2 foot piece of black nylon fishing line or a piece the same of old string cord, at the mark you put on the string tie a knot with a half inch of tag end, hold the tag end against the string and tie a bunch of half hitches down the string a half inch worth, now push the peep back up to your measurment, take the end of your sting down either side of the peep and tie a half hitch under it, it will take a couple half hicthes to pull the string together because of the preasure here, keep doing the ties and it will come together , a half inch of hitches , on your last tie burn the string back to a ball against your string,,,, and there you have it , have fun
