I like the FN-SCAR too, but its just too new and hasn't proven itself yet. These firearms above are reknowned for not only quality and effectiveness in the field, but most of them have played a massive role in history.

The XM8 is dead by the way. The FN SCAR rifle was chosen instead. Good wepon, but no combat experience yet.
