If I run, my boots are wet or just in general, I have to frequently tie my laces. I buy cheap hiking boots usually for around $30. When I try to have strong nodes then I break the laces.

Buy more flattened boot laces, the round ones always slip. And always double-knot!

Hard to explain but... when you get to the middle (ankle part, or before its not loops but those pins), make one simple knot ( it won't look like a knot, just a twist), and then continue to the top. I always double knot the top. Works for me!

Ones you have tied you're laces, wrap insulation tape around it. It does look cheap but you're laces wound come undone.

If it's one thing you should invest in, it's shoes. Don't buy the cheap ones.

Double-knot them. They won't slip then.
