Does anyone besides me think that the Wings trying to sign 41 year old Ed Belfour is a really STUPID move?????? The man needs to retire. The Wings did not get knocked out of the 1st round because of bad goaltending(Manny was not exceptional but neither was he horrible), they lost because no one was scoring. It didn't work when they signed Hasek out of retirement. Belfour has a bad back. He has a horrible temper. He's not a team player. His reflexes aren't what they once were. They need to quit signing OLD goalies.

who got his throat slit during a game by a player's skate. His first name was Clint. He bled like crazy but didn't die and came back to play the next year. There was an ESPN special on him like Beyond the Glory. Who is he & which team did he play for? Also do you think hockey players are the toughest athletes?

I've read several posts on here about people complaining they can't see the puck in hockey games. I can see it. All of Canada can see it. And then there as the infamous colour tail graphic on the pucks. Are black and white too similar? I'm not anti-american at all but this has always left me scratching my head.

I mean come on, I know he's good but its his rookie season, he should not have been wearing on 'A' on his jersey. It should have been given to someone who has been on the team longer and who had more experience in the nhl. Anyone agree?

Do you think the NHL will expand in Canada (Winnipeg, Quebec City) or will they look to expand in "smaller media markets" of the U.S. (Milwaukee, Bismarck, Cheyenne)?

I know you can not call a Zamboni a Zamboni in a book unless you have permission from Zamboni, which I do not. So what do I call it?? And how would you spell it because I have tried a few ways and my computer does not like it?

This question has been asked before, but without much defense.

Don't just consider these last couple generations, but tell me, in your opinion: Who was the most talented all around hockey player in the last, 97 years or so?

Answers that are not based upon evidence that has also been provided will not be considered (Don't just give me his name, tell me why)

Oh, and there is a correct answer, so good luck, and cheers ;)

note: the vague rule reason is not valid as american football has vague rules such as the tuck rule
note: the can not see the puck reason is not valid- as my question pertains to live action... it is understood that hockey is the hardest sport to televise
note: additional question of does the good guy mentality hurt hockey since you do not here once or twice a week that a prominent player has beat his wife, gotten a DUI, or drug charges?
