Yeah, so Cloutier is out. Garon is out...They get this guy Sean Burke, I don't know much about him...he was playing solid for the first two periods....then HE gets injured.
The Kings Bring in Fukifuji, first NHL player born in Japan. The kings are winning 2-1....THis guy totally blew the game. The first goal, ok, they messed up on the change up, but the shot was so easy.
Brust, their other rookie, isn't any better.

Should the Kings bring up LaBarbara (who did pretty well as the backup goalie last year), or try and find another veteran?

Ever since they got that new head coach, the St. Louis Blues (the Royals of hockey) have all the sudden put the best team in hockey to shame (Anaheim) and are on a seven game unbeaten streak, one game under five hundred, and eight points out of a playoff spot!! I have lived in St. Louis my whole life and have never, ever sat and watched a hockey game voluntarily. Until tonight. They're playing with so much heart and ferocity, it's hard to count them out. It's the spirit and magic of St. Louis. The Cardinals did it, now it's the Blues turn. How far do ya'll think they'll make it?

Well, I take it back. I watched the Sabres play Montreal on TV tonight and almost lost my ear drums. It's a wonder that arena doesn't come down around their ears! What do you think? (just so this doesn't get deleted by some jerk) Are Montreal fans absolutely the loudest out there?

You can check up on the score on the team websites instantly, It jsut seems pointless. I understand the TV thing for indecency, but how bad could it get on radio? Cursing? If you're listening to a hockey game, you've probalby heard it....

I played hockey in my 20's to early 30's. I am now 53 and have a chance to join an "over 50's" league in my home town. Besides getting new equipment, what do you suggest I do to get ready for the upcoming 2007-08 season? I have all spring and summer to get in shape. What do you suggest? I am not fat or anything like that, just a little paunchy. Help me get in shape. What should I do this coming spring and summer? How do I get lean and mean?
Any suggestions are welcomed!
