Well i went to the game so....
1. Penguins dominated in every aspect of the game (we even did good at faceoffs, which we're normally bad at)
2. Gal Hill and Bryan McCabe were acting like a$sholes all night
3. The fights were pretty weak (not many punches thrown)
4. TONS of leafs fans at the game (made for many chants)
5. There was a fight near me in the stands
6. fans were ejected lol
7. Recchi's hat trick was crazy
8. Ruutu's penalty shot goal was sweet
9. Malkin got 5 points
10. Fleury was awesome
11. Refs made some bad calls against the leafs..ill admit it
12. it was a very dirty game
13. Pens power play was amazing and the penalty kill was decent
14. And who could forget about Crosby being an incredible stickhandler

Oh wow, what a game. I still haven't recovered from all that excitement. The skating and skills demonstrated on the ice were beyond my wildest expectations. I really enjoyed especially the way Heinrich Bortz scored on the power play, displaying such grace as he skated down the ice and beat the goalie, then raising his stick in the air and celebrating with his teammates. It almost made me cry to see such grown men acting with such elation and camaraderie. A scene I will never forget. Oh, what about the Penguin right wing, Anastasie Plubota scoring a short-handed goal by spinning around the defenseman, Bruno Scagorski, and beating the goalie with a perfect shot in the left corner. Did you see that shot, unbelievable! Oh, I could go on and on. I think the most valuable player in the game was the Penguin Center, Igor Stromconovich, who assisted on three goals and just played an excellent all around game. What do you think?
Thanks for reminding me of this game which gave me a lifetime of memories. Thanks again.

I'm married to a Canadian, true blue Leafs fan and we watch HNIC every Saturday (even though we live in America - gasp!). Here's my *w*rap-up:
First period: Leafs don't get behind too much. We eat dinner while watching the game. Nostalgic talk of when the '67 Leafs win the Stanley Cup.
Second period: Leafs get further and further behind. He drinks most of the bottle of wine and we watch more of the Avalanche game than the Leafs. Leafs are cursed out more frequently.
Third period: Leafs are screwed. So we screw too.

Put it this way if you watched the game you should have saw a Leafs fan take off his jersey put it under his under shirt and then put on a Pens hat!!
