I have never played organized hockey from before and just wondering. Don't all the helmet and glove colors be the same? If yes then are they provided when you pay the fees?

n youth hockey no their not provided and do not have to match the uniform. many kids play on many different teams in thier youth. I suggest black and white equipment cause they pretty much will go with anything. The fees will pay for insurance and ice time

You have to provide your own equipment but it doesn't matter at all if your gloves and helmet match. Just get out there and play for the fun of it - its not a fashion show. You can buy relatively cheap used equipment if the price is an issue.

It all depends on the sponsorship for each team. Generally speaking players are required to supply their own equipment. Some exceptions are when you play "AAA" hockey. "AAA" is elite level in most age groups ie. pee wee , bantam and midget. These teams travel to different cities, are required to dress up when going to the arenas, have matching hockey bags, gloves and helmets ect. However , most have to return the gloves and helmets at the end of the year.

Nah, not for just an organized house-league game. You have to remember that these people are just working shmucks like you and me. Hockey equipment is expesive enough, we don't need the price tag to go even higher.

No, they are whatever colour you choose to buy. In most places, hockey players must purchase their own equipment. Fees cover ice rental, referees, coaching clinics and other expenses.

No they dont unless the team is sponcered by a company than u need to purchace all of your equiptment and if it is sponcered than your sponcer may provide your with their equiptment
