Last night, I was so jealous of Cassie Campbell standing among all the All-Stars.....on the bench....in the dressing rooms!! What a fantastic job she has! I know she is a well respected hockey person for her role in the Canadian Women's Hockey....Team Canada, but has there ever been a female hockey broadcaster/announcer/interviewer?

1. Has there ever been a "blow out"? One team beating the other team by a lot of goals?
2. Has there ever been a tie?
3. Was Cheechoo the first Aboriginal NHL player to play in the All-Star game?

I don't know the answers....just seeing if anyone else knows.

Like Marty McSorley vs Donald Brashear you know. They should use the sticks as weapons. That would be sweeeet.

Now that there has been a season and a half of the new rules, have they made the game better, worse, or just different? Is the game more exciting, or is it more of a special teams showcase? Any thoughts?

This is for all the true hockey fans out there. Is Modano a shoo-in for hockey's hallowed Hall? I ask because soon Modano will become the all-time leading scorer among American-born players. He did win a Stanley Cup with the Stars (in 1999), but...

1. He has not won a major NHL award.
2. He has never had a 100 point season (although he did have a couple of 90 point seasons back in the early 1990's).
3. Until 1999, and seemingly every year since, he has been a spotty playoff performer.
4. He does have an Olympic silver medal to his credit (although he was merely average during the 2002 Games), but has been a spotty performer in international play also.

Sound off!

Last night at the All-Star game he was named the most valuable player. It's great to see a guy who most thought wouldn't make it in the NHL because he was "too small" get such an amazing award and have a great career with the Sabres. What do you guys think?

I know Anaheim wasn't allowed to drop the Ducks part of their team name when they changed after last season, same with the Dallas Stars when they moved from Minnesota. If the Pittsburgh Penguins do move, would they be stuck with the Penguins name?

and watched a young kid walk into the changing room, he fiddles around with his gear and obviously has forgotten what order to put his gear on.

Then he looks up and says "Haven't played in 7 years" with a grin on his face.

When he gets on the ice, looks a little shaky at first, then seems to grasp skating again.

About 1 hour into the pick up game, he's going coast to coast, stick handling through everyone, and firing the puck top hand corner from just inside the blue line. There was even a guy being picked up by a Junior A team this following year, and this kid was skating circles around him.

What would be your thoughts? Talent wasted? Like the kid was good, real good, obviously junior A good. But he just quit. Makes you wonder.

11 to 19 vote. It must have been a secret ballot. No one is reporting who it was. I can’t believe they kept this stupid schedule. It hurts the league and they can’t afford any more hurt.

Every game I watch at least 1 stick blows up from a slash or shot. I would think it would be bad for sales. Has anyone out there heard of new tecnology? If so, what company? How do I find info about them.

I have never played, but have always wanted to. I'd like to be able to learn the sport and eventually play pick up games etc. I'd like to see improvement and get some satisfaction out of this. Any suggestion is welcome!

Even Crosby fans have to admit it. He was way faster than the Buffalo guy who tripped. I don't think he was fastest, but he defiantly didn't get 15 secs.
