There was a female goaltender for the Tampa Bay Lightning in a pre-season game in 1996. I think there was one other but that is the only example I am sure of.

OH YES SHE DID probably my fav idol her name was manon rheaume she played a game for a the lighting but she got blown away but still she still played and she was an awesome goalie!!!
