11 to 19 vote. It must have been a secret ballot. No one is reporting who it was. I can’t believe they kept this stupid schedule. It hurts the league and they can’t afford any more hurt.

Canadian teams? Maybe. But I know it isn't western Canadian Teams. There is nothing bigger in Vancouver than when Toronto, Montreal, Rangers, Detroit, Philly are in town. They charge higher prices at the box office for Eastern Canada teams & most of this list. And Eastern Canadian teams aren't comming next year.

Out of the 14 final video games, 12 are in Western convention, and that they have got 6 video games final against communities they are chasing contained in the convention Edm-a million Nas-2 Dal-2 Stl.-a million additionally 2 video games against Phx. i do no longer think of the league can are awaiting who would be contained in the playoff race and schedule consequently. additionally remember the NBA gets first crack at dates in arenas the place NBA and NHL communities proportion, and the Kings proportion with the Lakers, so as this is likewise a component in scheduling.

I read the Canadian teams did not like the new schedule and that Atlanta did not want to go to the West but not sure who made up the remainder.

I think Bettman explained it pretty well last night.

They did not want to commit to anything if the Penguins move to the West. If this is the case the whole schedule would have to be modified again.

He also hinted to realignment as well.

Have patience, Grasshoppers.

JUST NEEDED 20 VOTES FOR THE SCHEDULE TO BE CHANGE BUT IT WILL MOST LIKELY BE CHANGED AFTER THE NEXT 2 YEARS. AS THE NEW SCHEDULE WAS SET FOR 3 YEARS.
