He needs to be pleasured by a real woman like you Melrose. If he was able to enjoy you like I can then he would be in a happy place!

When I went to see my Leafs beat Pittsburgh in Dec 2005 I was hoping to see 2 players I had never watched live. Mario Lemieux and Sidney Crosby. Mario was going through some heart issues and missed the game. That sucked as I never got to see him play but I did get to see Crosby. I think being this was his first year in the NHL and Mario was still the leader since he had not retired yet Crosby acted the way a young player should. Be respectful of veteran players, refs, linesman.
I went to see my Leafs lose to the Penguins Dec 2006 and I saw a different Crosby. He now yaps at the ref every play. I am not saying this because I am jealous. Yes I would give my left nut to be him or to have him on my Leafs but that is not why I am saying it. I am saying it because I witnessed it live. The Penguins fans that are responding to this question in a negative way are jaded and no matter what Crosby does you will love him.
He is the best player on the ice but he is so young that I still think he needs to get a few more years under his belt before he can yap at the refs the way he does. I witnessed him punch a veteran Leaf player twice in the face right in front of the ref. When the Leaf player gave him a little tap on the back of the legs the Leaf player got the penalty. By the way this resulted in a Peguins goal. It sort of reminded me of the "no call" with Gretzky against my Leafs that put them out of the Playoffs in '93.
I believe the marquis players get away with murder on the ice. Ovechkin can hit guys from behind into the door opening and not even get a penalty. If any NHL'er other than a marquis player had done that it would have been 5 minutes, game misconduct and suspension for sure. Possibly the refs or officials do not want another riot like what happened after they suspended Rocket Richard.
There are different rules for different players. Always has been and always will be. Wayne Gretzky had enforcers back in the day and if you looked at Wayne the wrong way you would be beat on. Even though the instigator rule was supposed to get rid of enforcers each team will stand behind the marquis players.
I would not say that Crosby is a baby but he has been the best player on no matter what team he has been on for many years.
This has made him a spokesman for the game at possibly too young an age and has made him feel that he can take liberties with the veterans and the refs. If Mark Recchi yaps at the ref most people would not say anything as he is a veteran of proven leadership and he has earned the right to do it. Crosby is a great player but he is too young to have earned that right.
Crosby should possibly watch some footage of Stevie Y or Mario. They were leaders but didn't have to yap to get people to follow.

Ok here is the deal look at the pressure on this kid since the lock out he was given the label of the savior of the nhl and has been under fire since then from both players and fans. He leads the leauge in points and is a solid leader on a up and coming young team and is a sure bet to be the leauge mvp as long as he stays healthy plus he led in the allstar voting.and if you were getting cheap shot after cheap shot wouldn't you complain as well. A former penguin that has been in the leauge since the early 90's in jagr is the biggest cry baby in the leauge and fans still love him so before you rip crosby look at some of your other big stars in the nhl. By the way if your a leafs fan matt sundin is a big as a cry baby as you say crosby is.

How is Sidney a cry baby in your opinion? Because since I started watching hockey of my own free will he is one of the few players that doesn't start uncalled-for fights and gets up after a hit and goes right back to the game. If anything he is one of the most mature players out there, at least in the Eastern conference... and that's really saying something since he is only 19 years old.

Crosby is the best player in the league at 20 years old. He draws attention with everything he does. If you remember, Wayne Gretzky was also criticized for whining a lot. Both of those guys were the best at a young age, and had to deal with a lot of attention. Case in point, In the Pens recent loss to the Florida Panthers, Crosby received a blatant spear with under a minute to go. He retaliated by getting in his face, and he received the penalty. Can you blame someone for complaining about that?
He is going to win 5+ Stanley Cups playing with Evgeni Malkin, Jordan Staal and Marc-Andre Fleury. GO PENS!!!!!

Crosby has been accused by opposing players and coaches of taking dives and complaining, which has been attributed to his relative youth compared to fellow players in the league. During his rookie campaign, he led both his team and all NHL rookies in penalty minutes, and this magnified his reputation for complaining to NHL officials. Hockey analyst Kelly Hrudey compared Crosby to Gretzky, who had a similar reputation as a "whiner" in his youth.

Sidney Crosby isn't really a 'cry-baby' anymore. i think that the 'A' for 'ALTERNATE' on his jersey is really starting to get to his head. =] I think all this talk about him getting the 'C' for 'CAPTAIN' might also be getting to him. I mean, hey, he is only 19. he's still a teenager. you gotta give him credit. it's hard living the life of an NHLer.

Because he gets tired of the opposing team players taking cheap shots and jabs at him and the refs looking the other way and doing nothing about it. Just like the other night when Jason Blake speared Crosby. Blake should have been suspended but was not.

It's because he has to play against the top defensive line every night, every shift and every second he is on the ice. They make his job very hard. It's like being a comedian and having a heckler in the audience every night. Even Michael Richards snaps when people bother him while he is trying to do his job.
