The Raiders have Josh McCown and Daunte Culpepper who are making some great progress in pre-season.
The Falcon's star quarterback, Michael Vick, will soon be in prison and I know they don't want to build their team around Joey Harrington.

So Vick will never be a Falcon again and the Raider's can't seem to sign their first round pick. Why not make a trade?

So what do you think? Is this a good idea and if so, what should the Raiders get in return?

I think the cowboys have a really good team and even if they were losing I would still support them.

I am a KU fan who lives in Lawrence, KS, and am getting geared up for the first game of the season. Florida International is coming to Lawrence for a 7pmET game. But I looked at FIU's schedule and it says they are going to play Penn State at NoonET on Saturday! Penn State's schedule also says FIU at Noon on Saturday. So what's the deal?!?

I want to know what others think about this.

I say no he shouldnt. Here's why: If you or I or a friend of yours did something similar and were sent to prison for it, would you get to keep your job? Honestly, do you think the average American would be able to keep working at the place they work for the same company?
NO.

Why should he, and any other athlete/celebrity, be able to get his job back? He had his chance. He was PLAYING a GAME for millions. Millions. Set for life, fame, fortune, ect ect ect. He blew it. He should not get another shot at it after doing something as bad as he did. I would say the same for anyone else who did something similar, worse, or close to as bad.
Let him live off the millions he still has or get another job else where. But the NFL should close its doors on him and others like him. I would love to live that life. Bieng able to provide for my family and their families. Give them and myself the finer things in life. And better yet, while playing a game

The time to apologize was when the investigation started. That was the time to fess up and admit what he was doing. Not after first, lying about it and denying it, and not after getting caught.

Im sorry but that apology was far from sincere. If he really believed the things he said, he would not have gotten into that mess. He was involved in that for years. It wasnt something that just happened as a rush to judgement sort of thing. It wasnt an accident either. To top it off, he threw Jesus into the mix. I hope but sincerely doubt he found Jesus. Why didnt he find him BEFORE he got caught? Why not when the allegations came to light?

I dont feel pity nor feel sorry for him whatsoever. The man had it all. He got to PLAY a game for a living making millions upon millions of dollars. I work my *** off and worry if ill be able to provide enough for my future family. The guy knew what he was doing was wrong. It is common sense and unless he had no conscience, he had to of known it was wrong

M. Vick apoligizes to everyone and "rejects" dog fighting. Would he feel this way had he not been caught and, if so, would he now not be involved in illegal activity because he"has found Jesus and has given himself to the lord"

First of all, I want to say Michael Vick should be punished for his actions, I don't condone any illegal acts that he was involved with!!! NOW.....
The house that Michael Vick owned, got raided for drugs and they stummbled into the "Bad Newz Kennel" Operation. Do you think that the United States Government is actually concerned about dogfighting or do you think there might be more to this story that we don't know about!?
I personally think that they are using Michael to get to the "ring leader" of the drugs, not the dogfighting.
Does anyone have the same opinion or am I going to get the same, "Michael Vick is a killer, he should be banned from the NFL and sent to prison for life answers?"

Kobe admitted on tape that he raped a women. Vick has admitted he killed dogs. Kobe still plays, but there is all this talk that Vick should never play again. How is that fair? I rather a dog fighter play rather than a rapist. Leave Vick alone, give him a second chance.Let him serve his sentence and come back to the NFL. What do you think?

I perfectly understand that dog fighting is cruel as well as illegal
but this is the same justice system that lets sex offenders out on bail. child molesters and murders go free on technicalities. Just recently a very highly ranked goverment official purpously leaked the identity of on of our own CIA agents and was excused from his jail sentence. Mr. Robert Kelly the R&B singer never even went to court for having sex with minors on video. Our own president torments foreign countries like a modern day Hitler. And all those upset people want to hang Micheal Vick for sponsoring dog fighting. which by the way is common practice in several neighborhood in most urban cities. There are people who don't approve of dog fighting but whom beat their wives and children. I know he was wrong but with all the more serious things wrong with our american justice system. should someone whom participated in illegal dog fighting be put in prison.
