Football (American) - August 2007

Eventhough I love Football, what Vick did was bark on the wrong tree, why, well in this nation, pets are threated almost like humans. Almost everywhere I look, there are pet lovers, not just dogs. So this kind of cruelty affect to lots of us. In my opinion, he should be suspended for at least 3 to 4 years tops. Its just my opinion.

They could send guys to actually have some big game experience that they wouldnt normally play the first year or two.

That would help improve the quality of the game.

Michael Vick is my favorite quarter back; Although, He was part of Dog fights. I don't think he should have to spend time in jail, but I do think the people who were involved in the actual dog fights should. Vick should only have to pay a fine. What do you think?

If Roger Goodell ever lets Michael Vick play again, what team do you think will give him a second chance, and at what position?

I personally think there are a few GM's and Owners around the league that would give him a chance as a QB, and I think that Jerry Jones, might sign him as a back up to Tony Romo, and on the first mistake Romo makes, "Coach Jerry" will put Vick in!

i think all of us make mistakes....take it from an eagle fan, dog fighting can be a sport!.....yet its true they allow bullfighting!....i think michael vick regrets it and i think he should be able to play again!....if youre a sports fan then you allow it because he didnt take steroids or do anything to cheat his way through sports like barry bonds!...i say forgive him and put the past behind him!...he publicly appoligized today!....he gets suspended and goes to jail while giambi didnt apoligize or anything and they didnt punish him! thoughts??

I was just wondering, he said he found Jesus...i wonder what He was wearing? Would the Lord be dressed for the present day, or maybe upgrade to an Armani Robe...deep thoughts that go unanswered...

Anyway, I'm appalled at what Vick did, but people today have their priorities so out of whack that it is mindnumbing. Michael Vick will serve whatever sentence that is handed down to him and he will pay his debt to society for his crimes, but for people to be screaming that he should never play football again, is ridiculous.

Thoughts anyone?

If I was Mike Vick, I would have been crying and begging for forgiveness. He looks sheepish and seems like he can't believe this is happening. Even if he's not truly sorry, it would be good from a career perspective, to look really sorry.

4th round of a draft. I already have Tomlinson, Palmer and Steve Smith. Larry Fitzgerald is still sitting there. Do I take him or take my other back?

If I take a back now, I'll get Benson. If I wait on a back it will be more like Thmas Jones or worse.

If you don't like people asking Michael Vick questions, simply ignore them. It happens to be the biggest story in the NFL this year so far, especially as it is during pre-season. Why should people not ask questions about the biggest story in the NFL?

What's next, stop asking questions about how the Patriots are the best team in the league? About how bad the Colts are this year?

Who in your opinion is the better quarterback this year?

Tom Brady has an amazing arm, is smart when he is under pressure, and this year especially the New England Patriots are loaded because he has Laurence Maroney to run the ball and Donte Stallworth and Randy Moss to receive which is more than enough already.

Carson Palmer has some weapons that no other QB has and he some approved receivers to throw to, such as Chad Johnson. I don't think Randy Moss's quality is accepted yet, but Johnson's is.


So who is overall the better QB?

I dont think so, some people are obviously above the law. What if Vick would have been caught drinking and driving, under the influence of cocaine, and in possesion of cocaine...would he only go to jail for one day? What if I did it? What would happen to me?
