Probably it would be a good idea not to wear it for a while. Give people's emotions time to be a little less raw over the dogfighting stuff, and then maybe it'll be a more favorable climate to wear a Vick jersey in recognition of his ON-field achievements, not his off-field shortcomings.
If you had the jersey customized with Vick's name and number, AND they're sewn on (not transfer lettering), you could get them removed and replaced with something else, or maybe just removed and left off if you prefer. I think you'd do just as well to put it away for a while, though. People won't stay mad at Vick forever!

Wait until there is a new number 7 at Atlanta, and then buy a faceplate for the new player and place it over Vick's name. The problem is that they will likely not assign a new number 7 for a long while so I guess you could try and sell it.

Since everyone else is having their dogs chew up Vick jerseys, or burning them, or using them as rags... I say keep it, one day it might be the only original one left and worth some $

If you don't have one, toss it into the local dog shelter and let them use it to sleep on.
What Vick did is just wrong and i'd get rid of that jersey as quickly as possible.

if it looks good, wear it. so what if hes a piece of ****, the jersey looks good. i still wore my detroit rodman jersey after he turned out the way he did. no, im not a detroit fan, just liked rodman. the hardest working man in the nba back then.
