I know they are about as similar as they are different, but the Vick case has many things that the Duke case had too, such as a complete national spotlight, a major organization against them (Duke case had NAACP; Vick case has PETA). They both also left (and will leave) two major sports teams with a black eye.

Are those two kinda the same?

Do you think it will really work against Vick?

I'm sick of the unproven rookie players holding out. What do you think of making them play for the league minimum for he first two seasons, and then going to get the big payday AFTER proving they are worth the big pay check?

Anyone else besides me really want to take Lou Holtz, wrap him in duct tape so that he can't move and I can slap him whenever I please until he learns how to talk or stops trying to be a sports analyst (which requires speaking).
Anyone else besides me cringe today when you realized they ruined a perfectly good college football live show by having him on it?

training camp tomorrow. I'll only be there for the evening and was wondering if I should go in uniform? Do you think I'll get autographs that way? It sounds wrong to me to do that but everyone is saying I should. Any advice?

what happens to a nfl draft pick that does not sign a contract. also what happens with the team? i am wondering because there are a lot of nfl draft picks that have not yet signed their contracts. do they go into free agent? does the team just lose their pick?

does the rookie think he can really throw at least 25 TDs and take the raiders to the playoffs, he acting like he's going to do that. I mean if he shows that this upcoming season or the next then I see reason why but really..I heard that he wouldn't even sign autographs for free at the ceveland free autograph signing unless fans buys his photos or buy previous signed photos. Look at Joe Thomas, he was drafted higher and he didn't even hold out, Quinn is acting like he is Marc Bulger who just held out but Bulger is a probowler, bulger may not be the best QB but geeze, he's not a rookie. For a rookie who hasn't prove anything in the NFL to come in on a contact hold out is silly.

Ive noticed it seems college fans are more passionate and loyal to their teams. College football's rivalries are also way, way more emotional because the teams literally hate each other and their fans hate each other.

I know this Cause im a FSU fan and I cant Stand Gators or Canes, but mostly Gay-tors those arrogant Pricks....

Anyways as u can see those games seem to have much more venom than pro rivalries like Greenbay vs. Minnesota.

Also lok at the fan bases Michigan had like a 107,000 person stadium which is huge I dont know what the biggest pro stadum is but I can bet you its below 90,000.

So whats you opinion?
