I really hope its Simms since he could actually have a future with the Bucs but injuring his spleen has greatly damaged his throwing form. I think he will be good in the NFL but not tis year. This year Garcia will start

Personally I think the question should be who to start between McNabb and Garcia... I still don't know what the Eagles were thinking when they let Garcia get away.

Anyways now that thats out of the way, Jeff Garcia is the man for the job and Gruden knows it... thus the reason he jumped all over him as soon as he started looking. Garcia can run a West Coast offense like a mad man and is incredibly mobile which is a good combination for Tampa's receivers considering they're not exactly the quickest to get open, not to mention the o-line leaves much to be questioned. Just my opinion, but I'd take Garcia in a heartbeat.

Jeff Garcia because:

he's been to a Pro Bowl with the 49er's

has more experience

can hold his own on with a good supporting crew(Eagles,49er's)

and lead the eagles from 5-5 record to a 10-6 only losing to the Colts

with Galloway,Clayton,Hillard, and Boston, Jeff Garcia won't have too much of a problem finding a target.

But with a ruptured spleen Chris Simms is a tough player to come back to the NFL though...

It is too bad Simms suffered that severe injury last season and I think Garcia was brought in to "win" the starter's role. Garcia will start the first third of the year and then may be replaced by Simms if the O is struggling mightily.

Jeff Garcia. He is a pretty good quarterback than Chris Simms. He's got more experience, been in the pro bowl, and he led the Eagles very well.

News is that Simms is still feeling numbness and weakness in his arm after the surgery. His arm strength isn't there and he's been struggling in camp.

So this year's starter will be Garcia givig simms time to rehabilitate and compete for the starter spot next year. It's possible he'll never be back though. But he's one tough guy (playing most of a game with a ruptured spleen proves that) so who knows.

Garcia is a pretty mobile QB with a lot of experience, and a spleen. All kidding aside, Garcia has been pretty consistent his whole career, and is pretty tough as well. Simms could learn a bit this year, and step in next year with a little more knowledge from a veteran QB.
