I'm a big time vikings fan....n, i hope tarvaris jackson is the real deal..he has a strong arm, hes faster than hell, but he was kinda raw last year...i have high expectations and i think hes rly great, although all my friends say he sucks and that i only think hes good cuz hes on my team...is this true? do u nthink he'll be good? what are your predictions for the vikings this year

You said it - he's very raw. He's very athletic, and I like his arm strength, but he needs at least another year before he will be a good quarterback. Unfortunately, that means you will have to suffer a year. He should be fun to watch at least tho.

Well not to be mean or anything but I'm going to have to agree with your friends. The fact that you are a Vikings fan allows you to see past a lot of major flaws that players might have and truly believe that they are much better than they really are. Jackson is going to be nothing more than a mediocre back up quarterback and Childress is going to find that out really fast this season on his way to receiving his pink slip.

Jackson will not be the starter for long in Minnesota. Vikes will end up 6-10.

vikings are definitely flying under the radar. I don't know if Jackson is necessarily the answer to all of your problems, but a backfield consisting of Adrian Peterson and Taylor and a young talented receiving corps consisting of Sidney Rice, your offense is quite potent. I'm SURE that the Bears are coming off their high horse from the division crown, but I have my money on the Lions beating them out...that's just me.

Well, He is a very good athlete. He has shown that he has what it takes to be a great Quarterback in the league, however he needs to maintain that level throughout his career unlike Culpepper has. He is pretty much all they have, so I am going to have to say they have no choice with this, as of right now. But I think they are in good hands.

I think hes the most underrated QB. Hes definatly not top 10, but people give him so much crap. Hes acually decent

hes a great athelte... i think he will be a pretty good player as he develops... your right hes big...strong arm...and moblie...so he can be dangerous...in terms of the viks...i think they are going to suck again this year
