Well education in America is way better then England. Come over here and play football and find out why they wear padding. If your going to bash our sports at least know how to type a question.

Because with the benefit of helmets, football players don't get brain- damaged and then go and type in prose like "in americe why do football players have apdding when rugby in england is without?u girls!?"

I played rugby and football in college. Rugby was fun but it does not have the speed, the size of players, or the collisions that occur in football. You are trying to compare two completely different types of games.

It's a much faster game...yeah, Rugby has just as much contact...but I don't think it's as fast...Rugby reminds me of what American football looked like in the 1950's or earlier...those guys had hardly no pads...but they also didn't have the forward pass...and special teams where guys can fly down the field...and get there before the ball actually gets there!

It's a completely different game Einstein. We also have rugby, but men over here play football. Both Universities that I attended had football for men only, but both Universities had men's and women's rugby teams. Didn't see one woman playing American football. Instead of writing moronic questions, why don't you work on your grammar?

Sorry but in America we just hit harder and are way stronger than all u little English pussys. And it turns out there r even more injuries in the NFL than ur gay *** rugby. Plus in rugby u arent usually lining up someone from 20 yards away and going full speed in to them as hard as u can, so shut the hell up. Go AMERICA and Go Football!!!!!!!!

In England i know ya can spell better then this. But, Football is not rugby. Two different sports. Two different equipment.

Maybe we should have a 300lb NFL player and a Rugby player run into each other 50
