for starters people are so quick to judge and punish out of pure hatred for Vick. that is wrong. the real correct policy it to punish and then forgive. If y'all wanna bring god into this then this proves my point. god punished the people who did wrong but he still brought Jesus down to this earth so that he can forgive us and forget about our sins. yes Vick did wrong and yes he should be punished, but what the media and people are doing to Vick is just as sick as dogfighting because there is just as much hatred in judging someone out of hatred as there is in dogfighting.
I guess it is a human flaw that we are so quick to anger and so quick to judgment based on anger and hatred.
now i do say punish Vick because his actions were wrong and no wrong actions should go unaccounted for but be quick to forgiveness, love, and acceptance not hate and judgment.

I feel m Michael Vick was thrown under the bus by the media and the NFL players union. Yes he lied Yes he did it. and yes he will pay for his actions. But not to be banned from the nfl. Just like the atlanta naacp president said. If he had killed someone he would not have gotten all this media hype. Its all because hes making more money in the nfl than many of all races playing in the nfl. endorsements the whole nine. I felt his press converance was well spoken since he didnt read off a piece of paper . The media made a big deal out of that. And I truly believe more nfl players bet on those dog fight as well. And it will come out. And finding Jesus. I will pray for him.I feel that all the time he is in prison he will think about what he has done a come out a different person.Wow all that money hes thrown away

I think that Vick saying he found Jesus is just a way of trying gain public sympathy. After all, he has lived and played below the bible belt. I've never heard God or Jesus come from his mouth when he was scoring touchdowns and making millions. I think he said it just for effect. However, after he does his time, I do think he should be allowed to return to the league. Other NFL players have been able to return after being convicted of drug trafficking, manslaughter and other much worse offense than dogfighting.

We should forgive Vick whether he found Jesus or not. Likewise, whether he finds Jesus or not, he still did something wrong. Forgiveness doesn't mean give someone a free pass. I'm guessing even Jesus would tell us that.

Nairo, i agree. i'm a compassionate person, but he's not above the law. No NFL owner in his right mind would sign him. Who's to say that they'll allow a convicted felon to play?

I'm still waiting for him to claim that he's a stupid as*hole because of alcoholism, it works for politicians and religious nuts. He wouldn't even have to go to rehab, he could just go directly to jail. I hope the Judge sentences him to the max. and the NFL gives him a lifetime suspension.

It is not us who has to forgive him. No man is without sin. Your opinion and mine mean nothing in the real life of things. After he pays his debt to society yes he should be able to play again.
