I would like to see the Falcons be successful so we can forget about Vick completely.

Those receivers are all #1 draft picks. It was Vick who couldn't hit them!

If those receivers were playing with Brett Favre, they would be in the Pro-Bowl!

I think Harrington will have a very good year especially if the offensive line stays healthy as he's a more accurate passer than Vick. He always did have the potential, so let's see if he finally lives up to it. I sure hope so so that the Falcons can put this Vick thing behind them and come together as a team.

Joey Harrington was a great QB in college, and has so much potential if he is the right system. When he was in detroit they kept getting a receiver and not a line to block which seems to be the way they like to run the organization into the ground. In Miami he showed a lot of progress, but Miami was just horrible all around. Since he actually has a line that can block. That may take some time for him to get used to though. As you can see in the preseason he is way to ancy in the pocket, and he is just waiting on someone to hit him instead of waiting on a receiver to be open. I hope he has a great year and become the QB everyone thought he would be when he was drafted

I hope Harrington has a great year. To people that say the he couldn't make it on the lions remember that some people just need a change of scenery to boost their career. Just ask Trent Green or Rich Gannon, both had descent careers after they moved around the league for years. It's not fair to say the lions bad record was all harrington's fault. Where are his star receievers? Mike Williams, on the bench for the Raiders and Rogers, didn't he just move up to canada? If I recall kitna didn't have the greatest yaer last year either overall. He put up yards but threw more tds than interceptions, so maybe the falcons and Harrington are the perfect combination to redeem each other.

I would like to see that, to prove to everybody that the Falcons don't need Vick to be a competitive team and to show that Harrington isn't as bad of a QB as everybody thinks.

I would like to see it,
but Harrington is got a window that is about as small as it gets.. he was garbage in detroit, above garbage in miami, i dont think atl will let him suck for long at the helm.
but in responce, yes if he could some how not suck, or even do well.. id be happy for him. hes got a couple weapons to throw to, a off line that is smaller, but more athletic in ATL.. so he has a chance to for success... but the same forulas if not bette rones were in place with miami and detroit, and he couldnt step it up.. so i wouldnt be shocked if he couldnt get the falcons to a winning record.

Joey Harrington is an ex-Lion. God help Atlanta if they have to pin their hopes on a quarter back that Detroit dumped. The Lions have meowed their way to the worst NFL team in the past 30 years, and Harrington couldn't make it in Detroit. If you can't steer a tricycle, you shouldn't be behind the wheel of an 18 Wheeler.

Well that would be wonderful but no matter how much I hoped my Powerball ticket this weekend didin't work out. Probably about the same chance of a Harrington breakout with those receivers.

I have mixed feelings about this one. I would like to see Vick look even worse and forget about him. I also would like to see JH succeed because it may further point out Matt Millen's ineptitude.
But, JH badmouthed Detroit pretty bad when he left here.

me. Petrino's offense is perfect for Harrington unlike the offensive schemes he played with in Detriot and Miami.
