The animals have already been euthanized, or will shortly be euthanized, according to the information I have read. Dogs like these, which have been brutally mistreated and conditioned to be fighting animals, are a danger to themselves and to people, and the kindest thing to do for them is put them down before they attack and possibly kill some innocent person, like a child. I agree, these dogs ARE innocent victims of Vick's cruelty- that's why people are so revolted by what Vick did. That he gambled on the dogs as they fought to the death only makes him even more despicable in the eyes of a lot of people, including myself.
Realistically, however, these animals have almost no chance at anything even remotely approaching a normal life- and because of their backgrounds, they are and will be considered to be serious, dangerous liabilities to anyone who might otherwise adopt them. This is tragic, I know- and Vick needs to go to prison for a long time so he can sit in a cell and think about what he did to those poor animals. HE'S NOT the victim here- the dogs are. Enough said.

Aww those poor dogs. Personally they are already messed up b/c the cruelty they've been receiving. I would love to try and have them be rehabilitated, but it's scary and they are animals. They could snap one day and bite a little kid and that would be a whole other issue. Pit Bulls get bad press and it's unfortunate b/c it's 99% the dog owner. Don't get me wrong there are animals (all different breeds) who can be a lose cannon, but Pit Bulls totally get the negative press and it sucks. Long story short, to answer your question I would love for them to be rehabilitated if it could work, but I think to be on the safe side they will probaby be euthanized. Fuc* Vick and anyone else who does dog fighting!

Well those dogs were seized, not ceased (ceased is to have been stopped). They will probably and unfortunately be euthanized. A bull terrier organization will not take them because they are vicious (trained) so they cant make good home pets. There is no way to find 50 homes for vicious pets.

Dogs who have been brought up and trained the way they have, have a small success rate of being rehabilitated. Most often because of their aggressive and violent behavior they have to be euthanized.

Unfortunately, these dogs are so messed up that they are too aggressive to be adopted by anyone. They should be euthanized as soon as the case is finally resolved (including the sentencing hearing).

All animals deserve to live, no questions asked.
Fighting is one of the worse things you can do to a dog. Make him/her fight for their life everyday, be abused, hanged, beaten, etc.
I believe they can be placed back into homes with lots of work from multipul dog experts and experienced dog ownders who have the right environment. They don't deserve to die without seeing what a good life is like.
Putting them to sleep is the fast and easy way out, but that isn't right for the dog.

Those Animals are a ticking time bomb for anyone who is crazy enough to repossess them. They were trained to fight and attack. Yes they are the innocent ones here but they would potentially harm anyone who owns them.
