Good enough to win Comeback of the Year, because if Chad Pennington can win it with 2 arm surgeries I think he can do it too

He's only started two games, and as a pro, he threw as many interceptions as td's. His career qb rating is 69.2, and he barely completed 50% of his throws.... Am I the only one who thinks that he's been over-hyped as a potential starter?

I've liked football for a long time but I never thought I could play on a team. I only have 2 years of school left. Do think I could do it? (Or should do it)

As we all know, the NFL has done very well for itself lately. Negotiation of big TV contracts, recognisation as a global brand, new stadia, massive salaries for players, a far cry from the days of player strikes and the other negative stuff.

But...

Is there trouble on the horizon? Those of you who pay attention to the league during the off-season will remember the ALMIGHTY struggle that then-Commissioner Tagliabue had in mediating and successfully negotiating a new CBA. As opposed to the owners squabbling with the players union, it was the owners arguing amongst themselves.

The final margin was 30-2 in favour, but it wouldn't surprise me at all if the negotiation become a bloodbath next time. More money on the table might make the richest teams even more resentful of the revenue sharing concept.

I just hope that the next few years won't be the beginning of the end of the NFL as we know it.

Can revenue sharing still work?
Will it mean the end of the salary cap?
What do you think?

I'm going with the Lions on this one. Yes it will be a shocker but Millen will lead them to victory. All you Lions fans need hope and Yes they'll probably go 11-5 maybe even a 12-4 record. Anyone else agree?

Millions of people worldwide will never see 1/10,000th of the money NFL players see. So why are they screaming for more? Seems like greed to me.

Personally, I'm a Dick Vermeil fan. Ate the very least you had to have your eyes glued to the TV so you didnt miss any action on any given play. Now that Herm has dimantled a #1 offensive team and brought them to a #19 ranked Offense and #20 ranked Defense, I'm not a fan of his at all.

We are going to waste LJ's best years giving him the ball way too much, risking injury, on a at best a .500 season.

Personally, I think we reverted back to the days of 1,2,3, punt when we had a defense that could win a game for us back in '98 and '99. Not that we have that defense now.

Does anyone see any upside in Herm?

I say Raiders by a score of 7-3 or 14-10 with Josh McCown thowring the only TD and Lamont Jordan rushing for one td, but Calvin Johnson will score the Lions only score

I pick John Madden. Not just because he has a good football game out. I remember my Grandpa talking about him and say like that guy was unstopable. I like how he was determend to do what he love to do.
