How can he not help the Pats? This guy is either going to suck and the Patriots will release him, he will be an average player and the Pats just won't use him as much or He will become a star again with Brady throwing to him and he will stick around for a while. Think about it. Brady was throwing to Reche Caldwell on third downs last year. Now he has not only Moss, but Stallworth and Welker as well. He should have plently of help this season. So even if Moss does not help the pats, They won't hurt them in any way. This team has too many verterans to let this guy ruin them. I'm not a Pats fan and I hope they do somehow collapse but there is no way Moss will do that. I think he will be a decent reciver but nothing like he was in Minnesota.

Moss predictions: 52 catches-920 yards-6 TDs

Randy Moss is going to help Donte Stallworth more than anything, which in the long run is going to help the Patriots. Everyone knows that Moss isn't half the receiver he used to be but at the same time he does have his moments where he can burn a defender deep or make an amazing catch in a crowd therefore he will draw double coverage on nearly every play which will leave Stallworth with only one man to beat. Yeah the Patriots were happy with the Moss pick up but I think they were even happier about the Stallworth AND Moss pick up for a reason.

He will only play better as an option receiver for Tom Brady. Since Randy is better at catching deep passes he'll be better at running deep routes like he used to do while he was with the Raiders and Vikings. And Moss is still a better receiver to this day, the only reason why he did not have the same success like he had with the Vikings it's because of 2 things; coaching staff and the offensive line not giving the QB enough time to pass the ball in the pocket effectivly.

IF the Pats get to the SuperBowl this year it is unquestionably no longer as a effect of Randy Moss. Randy is quickly and a powerful receiver yet communities understand the thank you to conceal him and thanks to this he has been a non-ingredient interior the previous couple of seasons, this mixed with the reality that he has lost a step or 2 and the leagues cornerbacks are starting to be even speedier, take a glance on the combine hassle-free 40 situations for the previous 4 seasons. there are lots of DBs available now that would run with Randy, basically as constantly, the Pats would have a tricky time with communities that run the conceal 2 protection because of the fact it negates velocity on the exterior, combine that with a number of the communities sturdy pass rush and the point of expertise that the Pats will face this year and that they'd have a tricky season. the two ultimate issues that the Pats have going for them is a sturdy protection (even nonetheless and getting older and slowing one) and Tom Brady. The O-Line is notably sturdy and Maroney is an hassle-free returned at ultimate, quite, they have been fortunate to get via San Diego final year and if the Chargers had a receiver that would desire to actual capture, they could be the international champions impressive now. i'm choosing San Diego to win all of it this year, they have the ultimate returned field in soccer, LT, Lornzo Neal and Michael Turner, the ultimate tight end Antonio Gates, a monster O-Line and sturdy protection, additionally enable's no longer forget approximately they'd have the leagues suited pass rusher for all sixteen video games this year if he continues to be healthful, Merriman sat out 4 video games final year and nevertheless led the league in sacks.

Do you honestly think he is not going to help? Granted. Maybe Moss has lost a step or two since his Minnesota days. But what he's lost in spped hes gained in experience. His best years where with Cullpepper but let me ask this? What has Culpepper done without Moss? Moss will now be playing not only with the best QB in his carreer....But the best QB in the NFL!! Just look at the receiviers Brady has done it with. Patten,Brown,Givens,Caldwell ect......Now your giving him arguably 2 of the top 10 receivers in the league! Something he's never had! Anybody that don't think Moss,Stallworth and Welker don't make the Patriots better.....Just remeber. Denial is more than a river in Egypt!

If moss has any intelligence at all he will realize this is a golden opportunity for him. I am not a fan of Coach Bellichick but you have to give him credit in that he doesn't take any sh*t from his players. So either Moss steps up to the plate and assumes a role position or Bellichick will bury him. I think moss will have an entirely different attitude with the Patriots and be productive.

I think the question you need to ask is "Will Randy Moss be a detriment to the Patriots?" There is no question that he has talent, but he also has a huge ego that he will need to keep in check in New England.

Well he has already shown they don't care about class/integrity that they are about winning only. So is that helping? When he isn't getting the ball and when they start losing he will start whining and taking plays off and be nothing but troublemaker. He will probably end up on the bench by the end of the season. If they win he won't get a ring because he will have been all but been kicked off.

Ask this question after game eight of the regular season. He is NOT the receiver he was before, but he still has plenty of talent. The problem is engaging mouth without engaging thought process prior.

He is a wild-card. He could really be a good asset, but he is NOT a great receiver any more. He is an upgrade over what they had previously, and based upon that alone, I would say he will help. (AS LONG AS HIS MOUTH DOESN'T OVERLOAD HIS ........)
