Vince Lombardi was the greatest coach of all time. He knew how to get players to do what he wanted them to do. He was taken from the sport far too early.

Lovie Smith is a person who id love to be coached by if you mess up he wont kill you by yelling his head off he'll take a calmer aproach. He also turned a team around from 5-ll to 11-5 and 13-3 (reaching the superbowl) He barely changed the 5-ll team tho. He traded away Booker to get Ogunleye. He also only signed Muhammad rest wore drafted by him or were there already. Hhe turned around a losing team by barely even changing the team. Some coaches realeese like 30 players to do that( Sean payton for example). He runs a crazy good deafense That makes players play better in it. His offense would be great if Grossman would make less errors.
Go Bears And Lovie!

Lovie Smith, took a 5-11 franchise to 11-5 with a 4th round rookie QB ( Kyle is probably better now) after Rex got injuried again ( he probably wouldn't be as scurtinized right now if that injury didn't happen) and the number 1 defense. Then the next season he ends up going 13-3 and a Superbowl berth. It doesn't hurt that he learned under Tony Dungy, who I think is an excellent coach as well

that would have to be Tom Landry.he is why the cowboys are such a hated team today. he is why the cowboys where Americas team. he took the cowboys to a record that i doubt will ever be broken. over a twenty year time span the cowboys had a winning record for 18 of those years.and along with lombardi help to build the sport of football.Tom Landry is partly why there are only two types of football fans. those that love the cowboys and those that hate the cowboys.jerry jones should have been shot for the way he got rid of Tom. even so i have always been and will always be a dallas cowboy fan. only other coach that could be named along with Landry and lambardi is don shula.

Pro level, Vince Lombardi and Tom Landry. Always the class act!
College level, Bud Wilkinson and Joe Paterno, same thing, class acts with results.

Tom Landry. He brought football into the modern era with his innovations, including the use of computers! He was also 'no nonsense' and stayed calm and focused at all times. he was also a good Christian, and spent his retirement years travelling around and speaking in the Lord's name.
