How will the now known Franchise Video Game Madden NFL. Be known as if Al Davis hadn't have hired a young 33 yr old Head Coach back in the 70's. Known know as John Madden. Madden could've coach any other team had he never been a raider but would've he succeeded during that era as much as he did with the Raiders? Going to The AFC Championship Game 6 out of his 10 yrs and making the playoffs 8 out of the 10 yrs. he does lead All...All Coaches with the winning Pct. winning every 3 out of 4 games. Who would call the games next to Al Michaels?

No-one, NO ONE CIRCLES the wagons like the Buffalo Bills!
And "it ain't no fun when the rabbit got the gun", New England! I'm the eternal optimist when it comes to Bills preseason hype, however our athletic, charismatic, and rocket armed J.P.Losman looks like the guy everyone will be talking about this season. Improved pass protection in some under the radar free agency signings. Two multi dimensional franchise caliber running backs a sleeper-slider QB, a Conlanesque Penn State linebacker in a wonderful draft. Tremendous depth and speed at wide reciever. Loaded at safety. Corners who'll cover and tackle a bit instead of gambling for INTs. A nasty group of DEs. Are Dick Jauron and Marv Levy blowing smoke up our butts with their optimism? Am I?

I seen where players get a contract of several million dollars, but do they really get that amount? I would like to see what is the real dollar amount they make and how it is broke down in what has to be done to earn the whole amount.

1st. Seed is The 74,75,77,78 They get Home Feild and a bye 4-0
2nd Seed 71,72,73 Dolphins They get a Home game and a bye 2-1
3rd. Seed is The 01,03,04 Patriots 3-0 home against the 6th seed The 66,69 Chiefs 1-1
4th Seed is the 98,99 Broncos 2-0 at home against The 76,79 Raiders 2-0

For The NFC
1st. Seed 84,88,89,91 49ers Home Field through out the Playoffs and a Bye. 4-0
2nd.Seed The 92,93,95 Cowboys. Home game and a Bye 3-0
3rd Seed The 66,67 Packers 2-0 at Home vs The 6th. Seed 82,83,87 Redskins 2-1
4th. Seed 70,71,75,77,78 Cowboys 2-3 at Home vs The 5th seed 86,90 Giants 2-0

The Yankees of the NFL? Because they have really good players, and does anyone compare the colts to the red sox, and last year's win in the playoffs like the red sox win in 2004? My friend brought it up. I being a red sox fan, Do not see it this way. Does anyone see it that way?

Even Divison 2 has a playoff system. Almost every year there is some kind of problem about the 2 teams playing in the National Title game.
They say it's ratings and money to have The Bowl Games.
So tell me what you think of my answer to that and tell me how you would do it.
1st. Start the season early by 1 week. at the end of the season choose the 8 best teams in college to play in the Playoffs.
Take the next 18 teams in the Top 26 and give them all bowl games to play ( that would be 9 Bowl games )
Then in the Playoffs, round 1 would be 4 more different Bowl games.
Round 2 would be 2 more Bowl games.
And then the National Title would be the last bowl game.
That would be 16 Bowl games and 8 teams teams playing for it. The Playoffs would only take 3 weeks if you start the season early the extra 2 weeks could be played during Holiday time.(Teams have about 3 weeks before they play there Bowl games anyway ) That would still give them a week home for the Holiday.
