play our lads at rugby union or league, instead of the powder puff american football, no padding here mate.
you wouldnt manage to get a team up, to scared. and americans dont like their ears getting chewed,
however if they did get a team, they wouldnt last the first half out.

The NCAA is erasing the Oklahoma Sooners '05 season is to be erased because of "Failure to Monitor" for being paid for a job they didn't work at..... 2 players cost the Okies an entire season that lead them to the Holiday Bowl is that fair... can they punish a entire team for 2 players... why not just those involved not the entire University

Wouldn't they be better off signing one year contracts so they can be free agents every year and go to the highest bidder - or at least use that as leverage with their current team?

The Pats have many new receivers and there probably is no room for these two.

I'm just interested to know some QBs (any season, any time period) who started off slow (say week 1 - 7, give or take) and blew up beyond that and had a stellar year.

If you could help me that would be extremely excellent. I have a bet with someone who said he can't name one QB who started slow and later blew up.

Thanks,

-Jamie

Special teams don't count.
I'd have to say WR on offense and CB on defense.

Redshirted or otherwise.

Also side note, did Noel Devine get academically eligible? I knew that was a concern of WVU but never heard any follow ups.

"Currently" coaching NCAA football?

My answer, in this order....

1. Bobby Bowden (293-80-4 with FSU, Two National Championships and with an impressive 366-112-4) I think this guy is the best, of all the "current" coaches.

2. Jim Tressel (62-14 at OSU and 197-71-2 and One National Championship) Its are to argue about this one.

3. Pete Carroll (65-12 with USC and Two National Championships and Mutiple Hesimans) Again I can't why anyone wouldn't have this guy in their top 5 coaches.

4. Joe Paterno (41 years with the same team should be enough, but what stands out. 363-121-3 With PSU, 22-10-1 Bowl record which is the best all-time! And two National Championships)

5. Urban Meyer (Very very impressive coach. 61-12 overall record. 5-0 Bowl Record. 2 MWC Championships, 1 National Championship, 1 SEC Championship)

How could you argue against this?
