The Pats have many new receivers and there probably is no room for these two.

I don't think so the Pats are probably going to turn into a overly passing offense (10:1+, Pass:Rush ratio). It would be nice to keep them for depth. They might even come out in 5 WR sets constantly as one of their primary formations.

I'm sure about that without a doubt man...they got way too many former starters at wide out...troy brown just announced he's coming back, randy moss, wes welker, chad jackson, donte stallworth, reche caldwell, jabar gaffney, kelley washington...that's EIGHT so far...there might be one or two more but i'm sure reche is out because of his drops in the playoffs last year, and jabar is reliable to throw to, but then again so is everyone else in their wide out spot lol...jabar is defiently out, reche has a slight chance

They should be. They are 4th and 5th wideouts at best. Moss, Stallworth, and Welker will be the primaries. That leaves two slots open. They'll be fighting it out with Chad Jackson - a high draft pick, and recently traded for Kelley Washington. Not to mention all the talk of fan favorite Troy Brown coming back. At most, the patriots will keep 6 wideouts, but I really can't picture them keeping more than 5 because Watson and Kevin Faulk can also line up at wideout sometimes. One may make it through cuts if they're lucky.

Well I believe they would have dropped them by now if they were just going to cut them. I think they're just holding on to them for now for some leverage in the first 6 weeks of the season before the trade deadline when other teams are in need of receivers. I personally hope if anything they trade Caldwell, Gaffney is reliable while Caldwell drops wide open passes in clutch situations.

What are you a Colts fan hoping they do?...*L*...Reche Caldwell probably cost them the AFC Championship (along with the refs), but I think they will keep him in case of injuries, etc...as well as Gaffney...They won't start, like Caldwell did last year...Moss and Stallworth are going to start...They are #1 and #2 now...

I think their future with New England is in jeopardy. Obviously, the coaching staff is not satisified with their production from last season, and I think these two both had some inexcusable dropped catches in the playoffs last season. I think at least one or the other will get beat out by Washington, but I woulnd't be surprised at all if New England retains six or maybe even seven receivers on the roster this year.

Gaffney maybe but i think Caldwell has done well enough to stay.

No. Reche was clutch last year. They are both decent, but could be used as trade bait.
