I predict that there will be two teams playing, and the team that scores more point will win. Why? Because they will have scored more than the other team.

The New England Patriots. I honestly don't think any team is going to be able to stop them. The Broncos have had their number the past couple of years but then again that was when Brady had no help on offense and now he has more receivers than carters got pills. On top of that they are really the only top tier team from last year that hasn't lost a huge key player.
Baltimore - Lost Jamal Lewis and so far speculation is that McGahee isn't going to live up to the hype as a Raven.
Indianapolis - Lost Rhodes, Stokley, Cato June, Nick Harper, and still hasn't filled the hole in the defensive line to stop the run.
San Diego - Lost Both coordinators and the head coach, and lost the team's leading tackler Donnie Edwards.
Chicago - Hasn't replaced Rex Grossman nor have they picked anyone up in case he implodes again.
Denver - Unproven 2nd year quarterback and possible loss of a huge team leader in Rod Smith.
Those are really the only major threats to the Pats and I really don't think any of them can beat them. Tom Brady is getting number 4 this year.

Anyone who is smart will know this was the first Superbowl the Colts have ever won and the chances of it happening back to back are slim to none.
I am a huge fan of the Bears.. we have the second best defense in the league (#1 ranked are the Ravens), good special teams thanks to Devin Hester and our offense is slowly but surely working its way to achieving perfection. Maybe this time around, Griese will get more playing time and Lovie can stop playing the nice guy.
With that being said, if we don't continue to strengthen our offense, we will not make it to the Superbowl. Bears need to weigh all of their options and status of first string players. Once we work on our offense, if not this year, the following year we can make it and will win the superbowl.
There are maybe three dominant players on the San Diego Chargers, Phillip Rivers, LT and Marques Harris. Three people can't get you to the Superbowl. You need more than a good QB, LB and RB. Although key positions, it's just not enough.
I could go on and on.. but, I think it's a definite possibility the Saints will be in the Superbowl. The team that shines really well and is given such high expectations, always exceeds them the following year. As far as the second contender, not too quick to put the Patriots (yes they have moss and tomas now and?? you can have a great team but you have to make it work more than having three superbowls within the first couple of years in the decade) or the Cowboys in because I think they have had their run. I want to say the Saints v. the Ravens, but I'm not too sure about that because you need at least one underdog.
I think it will ultimately be: Saints v. Bengals. These two teams have something you cant find everywhere, a team that can work with their strengths and weaknesses.

San Diego Chargers!!!!!!! Bank on it baby!
Because they ARE the MOST talented team in the NFL, bar none. They have LT and a fully stocked and one more year experienced O line.
They have a Defense that will shock and awe the masses and other NFL teams. They even added serious talent to fill holes from last year.
They added quality coaches across the board, including the coach that turned Aikman into a HOF QB. Expect Rivers to light it up all year.
Mr. Lombardi, I introduce the Bolts!!!!

Even though I would like to see Indy repeat, I believe the off- season moves by New England places them as the favorites this year.

dallas cowboys!! they were a superbowl contender last year until the defense decided to start giving up like 30 points a game towards the end of the season. they have everyone on offense back including a more experienced tony romo who btw will not be holding xtra points( still hurts to watch that clip). bobby carpenter had a strong second half for a rookie and the secondary should be better with some new editions and wade philips as a defensive genius. demarcus ware will contend for defensive player of the year.

New England.
What defense is going to want to play against speed demons (who CAN catch, mind you) Randy Moss and Donte Stallworth on the fly zones when you have Brady and Maroney underneath?
It's going to be insane. They are most definitely scoring more points than last year and that helps the defense out big time.
