Joseph Addai.

The Colts have (and until Manning retires, will most likely continue to have) the same offense that they've had since Edgerrin James was there. Their pass-heavy and pass-efficient offense spreads out the defense and opens up big lanes for their running backs. Edge had great numbers with the Colts, thus, Addai's stats, will be just as good or better than James' stats. Add to that, the Colts are now a bonafide SuperBowl team. So, Addai will have the chance to have good stats and to win SuperBowls.

The Pats RBs in this decade have never had a big impact until Dillon got on the scene. The Pats have so many receivers and spread the ball around so much to the point that the RBs become just another pawn in Belichick's gameplan. I believe that Maroney will have decent numbers, but with a team like the Pats, he will be expendable (plus, Maroney got injuries in his first season).

Lastly, the Colts will win more SBs from here on out. The Colts are historically a more sound franchise (going back to the Unitas' days to the present). The Pats will probably go back to the Pats of old after Belichik leaves and/or retires. Peace......

Lets see.... Addai has more rushing and receiving yards as well as touchdowns, and he is a superbowl up on Maroney. I think Addai will be the better pro, but Maroney will still be very good. Both are in great situations as they have good offensive lines, great qbs, and very talented wide receivers. Maroney may get better stats because he will be able to run the ball more often because the Patriots defense is much better, and they are more likely to play ball control, conservative football. For the time being, they essentially have equal chances of winning a superbowl, but the patriots aging defense will start to break within a few years. Because of Addai's superbowl victory, I will pick him.

the colts will win more than the pats, and addai will be better he comes into an offense where defense have to key on Peyton. addai also has better hands and blocks better then maroney. in fact the only thing maroney has over addai is size and that really doesn't matter. the colts have so much depth all over the field even if there are injuries there is someone to plug in and make a difference the patsies made a bunch of desperation moves to try to reclaim the number one spot and they will fail miserably

Well I personally haven't really seen anything out of Maroney as of yet that tells me he is as good as everyone says he is. Seems to me that every time I saw Brady hand him the ball last year he went backwards or got a very small gain. I'm going to have to give this one to Joseph Addai who flourished last year in an offense that hardly ever runs the ball. As far as the superbowl wins, the Patriots and Colts will be a long time rivalry, at least up until either Manning or Brady retires. But I see the Patriots winning more superbowls in the long run.

Sure Even if he does start, he WON'T put up rushing numbers that will catch your eyes because the Patriots are a passing team, NOT a running team like the Chiefs or the Raiders, like Levi states. Addai will be a backup to Green-Ellis. I DON'T see him getting that many action UNLESS Green-Ellis gets injured or something.

Joseph Addai. NE will probably only run the ball once in every 10-15 plays.
