I'd change the Texans, b/c that's as bad as having the Orlando Floridians as a team. You mean to tell me no one could have came up with a better team name than the Texans?

Definitely the Redskins. Hell, you might as well call them the Washington Brutal Savages, and have their logo be an Indian grabbing a child and scalping him. I mean, are there any Indians in D.C.? They should relocate and become the Compton Blackskins, or the Aspen VanillaFaces. That would make more sense.

THE CARDINALS
When the Houston Oilers moved to Tennessee, they at least had the common sense to change their name. Can you imagine if they were the "Tennessee Oilers"? It would sound stupid! Same thing with the Cleveland Browns when they moved to Baltimore. The "Baltimore Browns"??? So why keep a team name like "The Cardinals" named after a bird that lives in snowy conditions at times for a team that plays in Phoenix Arizona where it rarely gets below 80 degrees during the regular season??? Would be like moving the Miami Dolphins to Boise Idaho and calling them the "Boise Dolphins".

The Arizona Cardinals. Sorry yet a Cardinal as your mascot? Lame. My extreme college mascot replaced right into a cardinal too and that i continually theory it sucked. i could replace it to the Arizona Phoenix and it can be a fiery chook. it may flow correct on account that Phoenix is in Arizona, yet in addition the Phoenix is a mythical chook of great ability, that's lots cooler than a lame *** purple chook that isn't even a predator.

Hey Drew they WERE the Tennessee Oilers and it DID sound stupid. They only kept it a few seasons. Anyway the Ravens changed their name because Cleveland SUED to keep the name Browns. The Browns were named for a person BUT I would change the name because no one knows about it anymore. The Redskins team name IS racist but unless the Native Americans complain then I think they take it as it is racist and only fitting with them being in D.C.

I would change the Denver Broncos to the Denver Donkeys because their players and a good number of their fans are jackasses.

Change the Redskins to something like the Washington Warriors.
There is the argument that you cannot please all the people all the time...but considering the controversy of this nickname, it should not be used. Tradition is one thing, but insulting an entire race for "tradition" is quite another.
