I think they will. Tech's QB was very inconsistent last year, but he showed that he was probably the best raw ability of any tech QB in quite a while. Plus he's only a RS junior this year. I expect he's going to put up a pretty big year.

If you're going to answer a question about college football, please know the difference between the Big 10 and the Big XII.
Given that, that's not that tough of a schedule for Tech (avoiding Nebraska, getting A&M and OU at home, though UTEP could give them fits). I don't see them competing for the Big XII South crown, because I can't see them winning in Austin, but they'll hover around the high teens/low 20's in the polls by the end of the season.

They play the biggest names in college football - OU and Texas! TTU is always underrated. They are as exciting to watch as anyone. You guys should play Boise State! That would light up the scoreboard.

Rivals.com puts texas tech at No. 44 for this year...and they're Texas Tech. No, They will never even crack Top 40. Nuff Said.
